Only time was in carparks ie over the kerb, split mine in two places. The RS has a low splitter but I can park over the same kerbs I couldnt in the CUP
Not trying to do that im just saying its a shame that the option has been lost.
I can understand why they have done it and having the more different options allows the car to be more individual, bit like the major selling point of the Capri. Like to see what it looks like now the C2 is out.
I had the same problem with mine, it was the interior light, but it would seem its rather temperamental. Best to get its checked, never had an real problems with mine.
EVO magzine run a Cup and guess what the clutch went after a good 20,000 miles. Regulary use it on the track and Renault changed it for free no argument! They also missed the first service by 12KM as dealer told them the wrong info on service intervals.
Renault activley encourage Clio Sport...
Looked at getting a flat there but ended up going for the ones near the Fat Cat. Bit sh*t really thought it would have been more secure than that, the one on West Street has a guard but dont know if he is there 24hrs.
Sorry but my car is always more important than the girlfriends, well its a...
Where abouts in Sheffield as this seems to have been a problem for while. Car lives under my flat with two sets of locking nuts cause im paranoid, has CAT 1 plus normal ford alarm. Never leave anything in the car either.
Wish I had done this when I got my Cup which also had paint defects. I needed the car for work or would have been sacked so the garage had me by the balls. In the end got rid of it after 3 months, but lost couple of grand in the process. Wont be buying a Renault again, but unfortunalty there...
Load of b****cks about lights, so when I accelrate is there a valve so stop the car front from going up. What is the little switch for which allows you to lower or higher the beam for then!!
Its there to stop the front end and rear end fighting to be the one going foward when you break hard...
Same problems with service at Renault Ilkeston (Nottingham)
So many to go in to but to give you an example. My brand new Cup didnt come with Cup badges on the pillar. This was a MINOR fault with the car. Anyway got the car June, said they would order the new one for me. Got a call last week...
Just wandered if anyone on here have got ant of my old cups. One was from Arnold Clark leasing company, @@52 ATN and the other from Ikleston Co-op Nottingham, @@03 ZNV. This one went for sale down south as I traded it in.
Just being noisy.
Just moved from Nottingham to Sheffield and my insurance went down £46,not moved to the best place in the city and theres only 6 months remaining on the policy. This was for a Ford Focus RS which cost be £50 more than my old Cup when I had it. This was with Tesco and orginally a lease car which...
I would of come if Jeremey would have let me bring my Focus.
BTW thanks for the GTI mag with the trackday news letter. Can seen my head but thats all in one the photos.
Im 26 dont mind the ride or the fact that I have to have windows down most of the summer. Its the second one Ive had in 7 months, the first being a lease car I loved so much wanted my own. Then the following happened:-
1) My own Cup which I paid with my very hard earnt money had a large number...
To be honest I bought it cause of the complete package looks, performance etc. Never drove one before I got it, bit stupid, but was a good move.
The real shame thats its built and sold by Renault. Just been to VW with a work mate as brake light had gone. They not only gave her the bulb for...
I bought it for the following, the first two dont exisit anymore.
1) Limited run of 500
2) The performace upgrades
3) Power to cost ratio
4) Colour
5) Cause I like being shafted by Renault. (Only realised this one since buying it);)
Yes I can go an get this bits to fit from other places, but it takes time and who really wants to buy a used Clio with a range of different mods from different compaines. My other car is modded but the point its when you come to sell it you can say all the bits where fitted by Renault and so...
Had tracking done twice since new, and no its shouldnt be like that. The steering on the Cup will be sensitive and so it dosnt help when the tracking out. The renault techs wont have the skill to get it spot on as the other Renaults dont need it to be exact so they usually get it closeish. Hence...
