The engine breathing, exhaust manifold and catalytic converter has been changed to increase the power output to 182hp. This has also improved both the acoustics and the performance at lower revs with the peak torque now produced at 5250rpm. The exhaust exits now in two visible central pipes following the style of the Clio V6 and Mégane Renaultsport 225. This results in a change to the boot floor and therefore the spare wheel is now replaced by puncture inflation aerosols.
New 16" Renaultsport alloy wheels follow the design from the Mégane Renaultsport 225 and are fitted with wider 205/45 Michelin Exalto 2 tyres.
The front and rear spoilers from the Cup are now available as an option at £150.
A Cup chassis option is introduced offering a wider track front and rear, a stiffer sidewall on the tyres, a lower ride height, stiffer springs and dampers and new steering geometry. With this option the wheels have a wider offset and are finished in an anthracite colour. The price for this option is £200.
Inside there is new (very slightly different) leather/alcantara upholstery, a new 4x40W radio/CD, satin finish fascia inserts and silver-grey coloured seat belts.
New colours are introduced - a new non-metallic Racing Blue with optional metallic Titanium, Black Gold and Artic Blue.
The price remains at £14600. Pictures will be available this Friday.
