Hi guys
So I got my front bumper off and managed to change a light bulb
Today I realised my horn wasn't working. I did have to take the casing off the fuse box/electrics on the passenger side under the bonnet to get my hand in the light (to start).
I fogot to put the casing back on and drove...
Hi guys
My passenger side xenon went out, I managed to get the bumper off and I switched it about and it worked fine on the driver side so I switched everything from the drivers side to the passenger side (bulb and power pack bit).
Everything from the passenger side (not working to start)...
My car has hit 80k and 7 years and it's needed a new xenon/outside temp sensor/air con fixed/coolant thermostat in the space of about a month
gogo clio
Haha - nope! A job for my garage
Nothing to worry about in the mean time then?
Any clue on a rough price? Appreciate it's garage dependant
Thanks again
Hi guys
On my 182 the coolant temp gauge always sat bang in the middle but on the way home tonight after 30 mins driving it suddenly dropped to the first marker (5 in total on way to half way).
What could this be? Please bare in mind I'm a novice with cars!
Thanks
Haha - Cheers
Yeah I can see the first metal clip but it's very tight and I've exerted a lot of force on it and it still won't budge!
Tomorrow's post: 'So I broke my bumper in two....'
My apologies.
When I try to unclip the bumper at the side at the wheel arch I just can't get it free.
I believe I have removed everything that needs removing. All 10 bits according to the how to guide.
Hi guys
Got a great guide on here last week to remove the bumper on my 182. One of my xenon's went out so was going to try it in both sides to see if it was the light or the power pack thing.
I manged to get all the bolts and screws out. Screws were mega rusted and had to get them out with...
Hi guys
My nephew pushed my wing mirror in (like it does) then when he pulled it back round again it just snapped off at the joint.
Now I've tried furiously to push this back in, but can't seem to get it back on. Just hanging by the wires (182 electric mirror).
I can fit it back in so...
182. You're the guy I see going over the bridge in the mornings/evenings
Mine is used for going to work (25 miles each way) and it's fine. Good MPG on the motorway, sometimes 39-40 mpg
If you wanna give it some beans at the weekend you can and it's lots of fun! Had mine for 3 years and it's...
See you some mornings driving from Fife towards Edinburgh
Love your car, the wheels are v nice and sounds good
I have a black 182 also driving over the bridge (to Livingston)
Kev@Falkland quoted me
Belts: £600 (£60 more than Renault)
Service £150-200
You said he did both yours for £695 above :(
I may ask him if he can do me for cheaper
Thanks
Will thyey get out the chips fixed too? And can I just roll up with the wheels on the car and they'll do the rest or do I have to have the wheels off?
Hi guys
Live in Fife and I'm after someone who can redo the rims and some bigger scuffs on my 182 standard wheels. The Mrs put a huge scuff in one a year back and it's about time I got it sorted and the rims are a little chipped too at the front
Any tips on a good garage or individual who...
Hi
To be as concise as I can:
Engine off / Lights in off position - No lights <-- Perfect
Engine on / Lights in off position - Lights on <-- Wrong
Engine on / Lights in side light position - Side lights on <-- Perfect
Engine on / Lights in on position - Lights on <-- Perfect
