Im looking at remapping my mk4 golf gt tdi, i heard remapping improves the mpg. how does it? i thought after a remap there is more fuel being injected into the engine so the mpg would go down not up. any1 knows why?

I finally sold my 172 flame red, I didnt want to get rid of it but I couldnt afford to keep 2 cars going. The clio was picked up earlier on by the new owners. Sad to see it. I just wish i couldve kept it go, it was a great little fun car. I will own another clio sport in the future tho. lol

I'd hav that colour anytime of year. that colour would cheer up the boring grey winters we get, add some colour it. Inferno orange is also a very nice colour.

Love that colour, think its the best colour they done. Considering its only 2 yrs old its had 3 owners already. lol

yeh im the same, i really like them both. the new style wheels suit the car a bit better reckon and there not common like the old style wheels.

thanx, i was going to go along the lines of about 170 bhp. after a remap on a diesel is there alot more noticable smoke? i heard on some fourms that some cars chuck out loads of black smoke.

yeh thats true. im getting celtic tuning to remap my car for me. heard there good. I need to find out somewhere what sort of bhp causes the car to chuck out black smoke so i can go just below that mark.

oh right thats good then. i'll def b booking my car in then for a remap. ramap my car from 130 bhp to 180-185 bhp. lol
