    Drop Link and Tracking Rods

Well parks told me! Lol, but in all serious I thought the tracking was out, so when I got a new tyre fitted the guy did it for me. To be honest it never really made a difference, the car still was out! We'll see how it goes though!

    Drop Link and Tracking Rods

Thats what i thought, Ive got my car back from parks now and I'm taking it to a local guy, he gave me a much more reasonable price, around £25! Well for the drop link, he said he would have a look at the tracking rods, but he doubted they needed changing!

    Drop Link and Tracking Rods

Just been off the phone with a couple of garages, main dealer wanted to charge me 305.11 to fit one new drop link and both tracking rods for my 1.2 clio. Told them where to go, and phoned up a local garage who ive dealt with before who told me that he would struggle to charge that to rebuild the...

    Polished bliss

Theres plenty of details as to why zymol are unpopular on detailing world, but mainly it comes down to the way they conduct business, they are trying to charge around £10000 per year to be an authorised detailer, and iirc you need to be an authorised detailer to be able to resell their products.

    Back to black...

Bumper care is my normal choice, however read that WD40 is as good, so a can of 97p asda special WD40 later, pretty impressed, got to be careful it doesnt get on the paint, but other than that, i think it works pretty well! and a hell of a lot cheaper!!

    182 washer jets

I have this problem, i put a pin in them to clear them only to find that they aren't clogged, they just slide down, use the pin to pull it up and reposition the jets! You have to do it every couple of months, but its a free fix and not much hassle, just 30s once you've washed the car!

    HELP- ouside temperature reading

Calm down mate, just joking, my sarcastic comment was actually aimed at the famous french build quality! Ive been doing more research in the meantime however, and it doesnt look as if the sensor is the definitve solution, maybe a faulty connection, so maybe try that see if you can save a few quid!

    HELP- ouside temperature reading

Well the only thing i would say is that about six moths ago i had a bump that cracked my wing mirror, and its worked fine for a further six months! Not that sensitive. The alternate way of looking at it is that Renault build bulletproof parts and that this is just sensitive in comparison, hmm...

    Anyone used R222 100% Wax?

For the record the 100% refers to the volume of carnuba, for example the old P21s contained carnuba and beeswax, however this only contains carnuba wax, plus the usual oils etc. R222 wont give a percentage of carnuba in the wax, however do say it is quite high. Found all this out on DW!

    Anyone used R222 100% Wax?

Interesting, if it gives the same results as and still doesnt have great durability then I cant see myself justifing the extra tenner! Mind you just read that it should get an extra months durability due to increased carnuba content, maybe worth a shot? I think I might give it a go once I've...

    Cheap Polishers

I had the same reservations as you about the silverline one being rotary, but i decided to go for it anyway, and i have to say, ive used it a few times now on both my car and my friends, and been very very impressed with the results!
  27. zogzog60

Could this be used to polish?

That is an actual polisher though! I bought it recently and was worried about using it due to the fact it isnt an orbital polisher. However i braved it out and gave it a go, and i have to say, absolutely smashing results!!! used menzerna intensive polish and i am really impressed, got some final...
