Yeah all the speakers are 13cm. From what I can understand the main thing you have to consider is the mounting depth..
And apparently the renaults have a strange connector on them so you need some kind of adapter. Not sure what it's called though :S
lol. i am new to this. i've never fitted something like this before, i'm just going on what i've read. i want to upgrade with minimum fuss, so anything plug 'n' play would be great. i think i'll definitely use the hertz you recommend for the rear, but for the front i want components. i'm just...
Surely attaching coaxials to the front is a bad idea because they are made for full-range. you've already got tweeters and i'm guessing a crossover must be hidden somewhere. so the high frequencies will be going to your stock tweeters, and everything else to your coaxials, even though they are...
Sorry for my ignorance but I'm totally new to this....The crossovers that come with the components, will I need to use them? Won't the 182 already have a set?
Re: Speakers for 182
Ok so I won't bother considering those In Phase speakers. What about the pioneers? Has anyone else fitted them? I preferably want them to fit out of the box without having to modify the doors panels or anything. Anyone recommend any........?
Speakers for 182
Hi,
Just fitted an Alpine CDE-104BTi to my 182. Sounds much better than the standard headunit but I now need to upgrade the speakers :). I am planning on buying an amp for them in the future but for now I'm going to run them off the headunit. I'll also probably get a sub and...
Hi,
I've recently got a Clio 182. When I hit ~80mph I hear this loud whine from the front of the car. It gets worse if I accelerate hard. Sounds like it could be air getting in somewhere...Any ideas?
Thanks
I know this question has probably been answered already in one way or another but I just want to be clear...
I want to replace the front and rear speakers in my 182 FF. Just going to run them off an Alpine CDE-103BT for now. From what I understand I need 13cm component speakers for the front...
My one years NCB is from March 2008 when I last had a renewal notice. So I'm using that at the moment, and when I cancel and take out another policy I'll use the same one again. So I will lose the NCB I would be building on my current policy, but I should be able to use the one I've already got...
I'm with Elephant too. Have always been the cheapest for me. Must've been hard leaving your car doing all that time! I can't not drive my 182 for a month and a half so I've paid the full wack now and will cancel on my birthday. That's the plan anyway.......
No, that's the whole point. When you reach 21 you move into a lower risk group so your premium suddenly drops. Same happens when you reach 25 I think. So at the moment my cheapest insurance is £1300. But when I'm 21, it goes down to £900.
It's because I will be 21. Puts me in a different 'category' or 'risk group' I think :) The price really does drop like that, overnight. If it was my 21st birthday today it would cost £900, otherwise ~£1300. The other reason that it works out cheaper is that many insurers won't even look at me...
Hi,
I'm 20 with 1yr NCB and I've just taken out insurance on my 182 with for ~£1300. However, I'm 21 in March and from then I can get insured for ~£900! So my question is, can I cancel my policy on my birthday and then take it out again, either with the same company or whoever is the...
Hi,
Just got my Clio 182 FF and have noticed that when I scroll through the trip computer display, it misses out 'Current Consumption'. Everything else displays fine, it just goes Average Consumption -> Estimated Range, totally skipping current consumption. Any ideas??
Thanks.
I want to spend less than that. I'm looking at the CDE-102Ri or CDE-9880R. Not quite sure what the different is between them to be honest. There seem to be two ranges - CDE-10x and CDE-9xxx. All look pretty similar tho :S
