I'm about to order a set of these from Camskill but before I do I just wanted to make sure I'm going for the right choice. I have done a search on here and I think I am right in choosing these? I am looking for a decent set of road / track tyres, I would have gone for 888's or similar but the...
Motorcast are very good, not just saying that as one of their suppliers but as an ex customer as well. Agree on getting it repaired instead of an engine swap, you just don't know what you are getting 2nd hand.
Trophy on Mersey street going past the speed camera, had some sort of trophy plate but nit sure what, then about 2 mins later on Knutsford Rd an RB182, think it was a 54' plate :D
Is your blue ? And do you work in Sandycroft ? Sorry for the Q's but I have seen a blue V6 255 parked near Factory Road Ind Est and also driving through Chester.
I went down to Oulton at about 3pm and watched you lot hooning around, only stayed about 40 mins but looked good fun. I will try and get on the next one with my 182 and hopefully an Elise aswell. Some good pics taken there, well done :)
J263SJO - White 16v Clio. used and abused whilst I had it - 1997-1999 then bought it back in 2002 and abused it again, sold it to a lad in Wigan after that.
Take the crank out and inspect, if it isn't too scored get it re-ground and fit new oversized bearings, re lap the valves in and re ring the pistons if the bores are OK. If it is a little end then replace that or get a good 2nd hand rod, should be fine after that.
M316VEV - Williams 2 - owned from 2002-2004, did many many many track days in it and traded it in for an Elise. Great car, never wanted for anything and I changed the oil every 1000-1500 miles, sold it with over 80k on the clock, I did 30k in the time I had it. I miss her :(
That is a very narrow minded view, so if I have a Clio on my drive in 2 years time I need to rethink my life ? I think not !!! Not being funny but it doesn't matter who you are or how much you have, if you like something you have it or aspire to it.
Hi my name is Simon and I'm a Clioholic........... LOL, never too old for a fun car, my Dad who is 63 loves driving mine and sold his naples valver last year so 25 aint too old at all, ffs I bought a Williams when I was 24 and thought that was sensible :)
