Not a big job to fit it, they aint that different underneath and his car has done hundreds of trips towing his Caterham and the Atoms around the country, in fact the Clio tows the Atom brilliantly.
Keeper ? if so get the Williams, if not then..................get the Williams. If it was me then I would get the Williams because you aint going to lose money on it, if you keep it a bit then you'll probably make on it and they are a great car to have :)
This one ? can't find the pics with it hooked up to the 172 though. I had it to do some work on it before it was due on track the following weekend, great car !!:D
"Two full tanks and 600 miles isn't that bad overall. Must be about 34mpg and considering all those country lanes you must have been blasting down I don't think it's that bad."
I used 2 3/4 tanks of Shell's finest so a little less to the gallon than that, would have been more but the rev...
Wasn't me in Bangor, I was in Porthmadog Sat eve, we stayed in Tegfan guest house in the centre of Caernarfon. Best breakfast I have had in a very long time and the bloke who runs the place is madder than a box of frogs !
LUK are as good as Valeo, both OEM on a lot of european vehicles, you'll probably find an LUK clutch in a Valeo box and vice versa depending on application so whichever is cheaper I would buy.

Thanks, needs some cosmetic work - wheels repainting after the GF curbed them and work on the front after I hit a piece of metal on the mway. New spots, grille and paint :(
The drive was great, quiet roads and gave the car a good run. Went from Newport back up to Warrington on the M4-M5-M6 so not that exciting back but the drive from Anglesey to Newport was brilliant, took the scenic route :)
Hi all, got back late last night from an amazing journey through Wales. Set off from Warrington Saturday a.m and headed for Porthmadog, from there into Caernarfon and stayed the night. Sunday a.m went to Ty-Croes for a look see then set off to Newport taking the scenic route. Some pics here but...
When I had a Williams I got a mate who was working for Bellcharm Renault to do my cambelt, he was the longest serving mechanic there and had done a lot of 16v and Williams servicing and belts. He came to my garage and did it as a Sunday cash job - finished it myself as he was totally crap ...
Ok so I'm going to post a few pics up from my Welsh road trip, do I put them in here or Clio Media ? Just getting to grips with all this so sorry if I sound like a numpty :o
N.W Performance in Northwich gets some very good reviews, they advertise on here but if that is too far for you PM me and I will recomdend a local 'good' garage for you. Believe me there are some cowboys in warrington, I have dealt with them all through work and would only reccomend a very small...
I'll get under it and have a look when my ramp is free and see if I can re hang it properly, so without sounding like a daft Q, does a de cat make much difference power wise or not? worth the trade off in noise ?
It is a bit low, dodgy angle of shot as well. Sounds great and not too loud, just wondered what make it was. Does a de-cat make them too loud for TD's ? Got to get a few jobs done on it so I'll re hang it when I get it up on a ramp. :)
