been looking at other options, can get a blank key here quite cheep, then get a local locksmith to come out and program it, that could work out a tad cheeper :D

yeah, from what iv been reading, its most likley the key, was looking online at an immobiliser bypass that plugs in under the ash tray its gonna b cheeper than getting a new key programed, anyone had any experiance with these?? Thanks Shaun

it got ran over by a car, the case smashed, , on the board, the arial for the fob broke off as did the switch to lock/unlock, but iv replaced both and the key works, unlocks and re-locks the car, iv checked all the tracks on the board and they are also fine, and im assuming it isnt an earth...

hi all, as said in the title, i have replaced my engine, the key fob opens the door, but when i try start the car i get a single click from engine bay and fast flashing red light in the dash display, any ideas?? Thanks Shaun

This, :D i couldnt figure out which one wasnt working for me removed all the switches etc, still nothing, eventualy i stripped the dash out removed the airbag (carfully) and removed the fuse from the alarm (mk2 ph1),re assembled, n now the door locks and unlocks with the fob, the lights flash...

hi i recently posted about needing an engine , iv found one near by they guy said the engine is out a 53 plate cup on 90k for 150(he recommended doing the timing belt if i buy it) , being that mine is a w reg mk2 ph1 , what will the diffrences be , how would it need to be adapted etc if...

how about all the plugs that bolt onto the existing engine will they also just plug into the new one, if not how different are they?? im basicly looking to straight swap so a 730 , a 732 and a 736 will all do that?? thanks for all the input people

i take the the engine i have is the f4r then only had the car a few months so alot to learn lol , engine repair is a possability, i just assumed it would be cheaper to replace the whole thing
