You need CLIP I'm afraid chap, genuinely - it's not a network issue so most likely an input signal/sensor is massively incorrect or is in open circuit.
If they're genuine Renault items and not the Prima reps, with Center caps then I'd give you £250 for them as my Mk1 is dying for a set (it's not having my Cup set)
I run with a Polar RC3 which has pretty much everything you'll need in the box. If you want to add cycling sensors then you can buy these to (IF you want them).
It is everything you need and it tells the time!!! Unfortunately it retails at £249 which is probably more than you want to spend but...

It came, I saw, it had no compression. Belt was only changed two weeks ago lolz
"They're easy" - "They"
Not cheap at all, we charge £420 for them now with the VAT. That's genuine parts and with a water pump and aux belt kit. If it's a dephaser variant that bumps sit to £620. Renault have it on fixed price for around £380 but that doesn't include for the water pump which personally speaking, I...
We don't "do" mapping as we're not that kind of specialist but we'd steer you towards RS Tuning for that. Belts and installation of the RS2 though can be done in a day.
if you wanted to leave it here you could. We're on the main train line and the station is directly over the road from our...
