We're in Nottingham but that's gonna be a bit further than you'd like to trek i'm guessing. Here if not though. I believe BeanieSport in MK are likely to be your best bet

No, a Vac leak from any source (including this) would merely cause a high idle speed not a misfire.
More oxygen doesn't mean more fuel is automatically added. The ECU looks for this and compensates as standard by looking at the U/S H02 value vs MAP value to work out actual Load.
You're over...
It depends on the make of Plug Sonny but some can be as easy as using a small terminal screw driver where as others require a specific de-pin tool.
Is this on a standard ECU plug or an aftermarket 36-way?
That pipe is the vacuum line to the brake servo. That will not cause a misfire i'm afraid... start with a reliable diagnostic and check the live data parameters. Until you do this you're pissing in the wind I am afraid.
Injectors are just as common on these as coils and dodgy plugs. It can also be electrical on that Sagem ECU.
You really want to start with a proper diagnostic session, not a code read. There is a huge difference and people in general never seem to know what it is.
I think he is thinking you've got an over braid covering your lines. I much prefer this Goodridge line to the steel braids as they're a b**ch to cut and tear up your hands.
