The starter is located at the back of the engine. Can just about see it between the middle two pipes of the exhaust manifold. Check if the spade connector is still connected as it can come loose. If all looks ok, then give the starter a tap with a hammer.
So many nice mods on your car. The dog bone will be great once it's bedded in. They do make the interior rattle for a few weeks though but stick with it.
Have you got a date for the remap ?
It really does transform the car and make it more fun to drive. The one thing a 182/172 needs is a little more power.
Go for it, you can always change the clutch if it starts slipping afterwards, it will probably be fine for a while though.

Cheap snow foam lance if you have a Karcher.
Managed to get a series S console second hand on eBay yesterday for £185, the seller was 10 miles away and the console had only been used a few times. Downloaded the premium edition when I got home and played a few hours. There seem to be loads of series s consoles on eBay so click the auctions...
It is likely to be the ball joints, they are very expensive to replace - check out clio197.net as there is loads of info about it on there. Put a post up there too.
Might be cheaper for you to order the ball joints from the UK to south africa. The car will feel loads better once they are replaced.
That's fixable. If you take it apart you'll see there is a rubber strip which has the contacts for the LCD, it isn't making proper contact with the circuit board. Likely you just need to reseat it and tighten the screws for the fascia a bit more.
Normal garden hose pipe is fine. That's what I used to do exactly what you want to do. Just unplug the fuel rail connector , put hose on to that and then just power the fuel pump.
The immobiliser red light on the dash needs to go out after 3 seconds for the car to start. Check the earth strap which I guess you removed when you took the box off.
It will be the plugs like Daniel says, one of the plug holes will have water down it. If you have compressed air you could try firing it down or get some rolled up kitchen rolls down there.
Sounds like you need to solder the two ends of the torn wire. Either that or crimp them together. If you need to buy the equipment then go for the soldering iron, solder but also get shrink tube to insulate the exposed wire.
That's the stuff! Great product, strong as hell so be careful with getting it on your hands and legs if you wear shorts.
This stuff is also mega at getting oil stains off paving
Put some lube on the ball, then use a cheap micro screwdriver and bend the end at 90 degrees, use that to hold the back of the socket whilst you push the ball in. I've done a few, you just need to persevere .
The light unit is pretty cheap to buy from renault. It's worth replacing it.
It you have a multimeter you could attach that to the light connector and check the car is putting out a steady voltage when you press the brake. That way you will know if it's the car or the light.
You can take the...
Black stickers is a good shout. I saw the other day you can get brembo stencil stickers so you can paint the logo. Beauty of that is that the stickers wont burn off or get jet washed off.
Can you not just drop the gearbox oil.
remove passenger side wheel and arch liner
then undo the bolts holding the black shiny end cap
replace the rubber seal with a new one from renault
bolt eveything back up.
