Hi guys,
Looking at getting a stainless battery cover for my 182 as I think it will tidy the engine bay up a hell of a lot!
However, when looking I can't seem to find anywhere to get them from, can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Joe
Are you a local lad then? I have just purchased a RB 182 Cup so keep an eye out for me if you are! :)
Yeah the idle is like that on every clio mate, common problems seem to be idle and the exhaust issues that every member seems to have! I will keep my eye out for a nice 182 in the Yorkshire...
Hi mate,
Brilliant! I will take sume up close pictures tomorrow evening and send you a PM if thats okay? Its a bit dark now and I don't currently have any.
Thanks man :)
The first thing I asked him when I picked up the phone was, what's the mileage and have the belts been done? He said he would get back to me but never did! So just be on the cautious side :)
This is literally down the road from me mate, Knaresborough right?
I was going to go down and look at this a good month or two ago, It was on the yard and I noticed it driving home from work one day he said he would get back to me as soon as It had gone through the garage and pre sale checks...
Hi guys,
Moved this to the more appropriate section, only had my 182 Cup since Friday last week and I have lets say, not had the best of luck with it so far! Anyway, the other day I was setting off in first gear just in a straight line and it made a vibrating/juddering feel through the clutch...
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can give me a rough guess at how much the following are worth..
2x Carbon fibre washer blanks
2x Carbon fibre door bullets
1x Carbon fibre rear bumper strip (just above the exhaust)
2x Carbon fibre rear exhaust surrounds
1x Carbon fibre rear wiper surround
1x...
Okay bud, excuse me if this sound stupid but the bolt itself is going through the engine block isn't it? So if I replace the cover, it will still be going through the engine block and it looks like its the engine block where the thread is gone?
The other two bolts are definitely tight as i checked them both too, hmm it only happened once and then I didn't notice it again so ill take it out tonight and see if i can feel anything!
Thank you mate, ill have a look into getting a new cambelt cover, so it would be easier to do that than it...
I have only had the car the best part of 3 days, So when I noticed it was loose I went to tighten it and it was just loosening after a certain point again!
Hi guys,
Looking for someone to shed some light on a slight issue im having!
I have discovered a loose engine mount bolt (Only one of 3) which wont tighten properly, having taken it out I have discovered the engine mount itself is missing thread off the bottom. How big of a job is it to get...
Not really worth it is it, the exhaust note is nice enough anyway! Just thought it would make a bigger difference than that! :) thanks for the help mate!
Hi Guys,
Want to get an induction set-up done on my newly acquired 182 Cup RB! It already has a Miltek exhaust system on it :)
I have seen the Ktech set ups and they look awesome but they seem very pricey!
I seem to remember there being a thread about people making their own in a 'Ktech...
Bit weird isn't it! But its just a sticker ill take them all off when I have some spare time! :)
I am on the last month of Apprenticeship wage so for the time being they are staying black, but in the future I would be looking at anthracite!
Thank you man! Yes im not entirely sure why they are on in the first place but hey!
Okay ill have a search and drop him a PM, think it would tidy up the rear end quite nicely! Along with maybe some carbon badges!
Hi all,
Been on here for a little while now but seeing as though I am not in ownership of my new car I thought I should probably start another thread and show you some pictures!
Picked her up on Friday evening and its safe to say im in love! Quite a jump from my Mini Cooper but I am loving it...
