Okay, I know for a fact that before I bought the car it had Xenons on but he swapped them off for the standard ones. How much are we looking at for the whole units? :)

Okay, surely if I was to buy a headlight unit from a 172 with Xenons.. I would have two units, the standard 182 cup one and the Xenons aswell, and it is literally a plug in plug out job isn't it?

Update: Got the car back this morning and it feels better than ever! No niggles at all (Touch wood) and to celebrate I have ordered some goodies... 1- Some FF Xenon Headlights 2- Ktec induction 3- Stainless anodised top mount covers 4- Stainless battery cover! Hopefully all get delivered...

The Little Clio is feeling very sorry for itself currently, waiting to be picked up in the morning and make a trip to the garage for the gear linkage to be sorted out. Hopefully (Fingers Crossed) its an easy fix and nothing too expensive! Keep you updated tomorrow... by djjoehryszko

Was simply adding to the thread in stating the Mountune ST was a lot quicker than my 182 :)

The old shape ST would be beaten by a 182, however the new shape will definitely trump us 182 owners! I was left for dead by a new ST with Mountune the other day! :)

I wasn't thinking of using an eBay jobby, like you said I wouldn't want to blind anyone! I want the same sort of brightness as the 172/182 Xenons! Could I buy a 172/182 genuine light unit and simply swap them over? Or is it more complicated... Thanks mate! :)
