The least original Iceberg 172 ever! (Plenty of pics)

You're an interesting update! I'll jinx it by saying this... but the car is perfect at the moment. Doesn't need any maintenance, and I don't want to upgrade or change anything at the moment. All that remains is to book some track days!

I used plastic primer and Halfords Satin black, it's lasted well, 2 years or so with only a few minor chips, and then I just fill them in with black sharpie :p

    RS Tuner - Airbag Module

So I've raised a ticket on Fastchip, and they have advised that you can't turn off red error codes. Bugger. What I would need to do is reattach the airbags and then deactivate them before disconnecting them. Trouble is, to do that, I'd need to be in possession of the airbags first, which I am...

    RS Tuner - Airbag Module

No, I've not :( I don't think the airbags would have ever been set off, could that be the issue?

    RS Tuner - Airbag Module

So I bought an RS Tuner, with all the trimming and it's sorted my ABS issues, but when it comes to the airbags, it's having none of it. Airbag errors are these To which I do the following And all I get is Not sure what the issue is, and would like it turned off before the MOT in a few...

The least original Iceberg 172 ever! (Plenty of pics)

Checked the clutch today by hoofing it from 2000RPM in 5th, no slippage, so assume all is well. Bought a RS tuner with all the trimmings , so will be mapped and airbag and ABS all sorted soon. New tyres for my daily wheels are needed too, think I'll stick with the Pirellis if I can find them...

The least original Iceberg 172 ever! (Plenty of pics)

Did an oil change today, car is running very nicely. Also replaced the ABS sensor which was giving me dash lights, so that's gone for now. Also, think my clutch might be on it's way out. When the front of the car is in the air, engine running but in neutral, the front wheels spin. Could that be...

I'm really happy for the money. They are reasonably sized IMO. Not MSA or anything, but OK. Car is "race car spec". Looks great from a distance or in pictures, quite tatty up close :p. Nah, I need it to hold my shopping. :D Back end is definitely a little tighter, with the insane front grip...

OZ won't be silver for long, so we shall see... Cheers dude! I feel like I can claim it's somewhat original now! The only thing which is really standard is the engine. Maybe I should do one of those lists that are so popular at the moment...

Updates! So the wheels I bought... £30 of Nitromors and they still looked like this... So I gave in and they've gone off for a refurb, more about that another day... I thought it would be fun to put a cage in my daily driver! I spoke to the eBay cage man and he very kindly sorted me out...

2 spots available on a private sprint day at Curborough Sprint Track. We have 13 people, if we get 15, it's £45 and I think we're planning a BBQ for the evening as well. Let me or @dann2707 know if you want in. Also, wheel and cage are getting painted this weekend.

Yeah man, you're welcome to have a drive. Now they aren't group buy only, I think you'll have a set on order pretty quickly... New sexy rubber will hopefully make an appearance, will be painting wheels and cage this weekend, then hopefully fitting it next.

Say £30? You will probably need to modify them for your harness mounting points but nothing too drastic. Can grab them at TFTD2

Aftermarket spoiler, both going to be running 15" wheels sprayed black, standard fabia splitter, removed washers, bilsteins, PMS top mounts, buckets, Megane shifter with yanoo, small steering wheel... Obviously not a carbon copy, I just notice similarities. In all seriousness, your car is...
