You'll love the Vibratechnic upper mounts then in that case.

    Rooby Clio 172

That works. That works very nicely. That's a bit of a shame about the aerofoil, a nice big surf board would have completed the look of this care nicely! I think a V6 spoiler could be the way to go, in that case.

    Rooby Clio 172

Needs a V6/Trophy spoiler.;) Love this car, and love that it's getting used in anger. Any mention of some extra engine work to turn it into a ballistic missile?

2003 Iceberg 172 - 109k - see here! No service history prior to my ownership. Belts done by RenTech Portsmouth at 84k, along with dephaser and water pump. Had a sump leak which has been sealed, still a few leaks from the rocker. Fully serviced every March. Tax til April 15, MOT til Nov 2014...

Halfords 120 piece socket set tomorrow only £60

Bought the 170 piece set for £125, down from £250! I really like the Halfords Advanced stuff, it's not quite as nice as Snap-On obviously, but lifetime warranty more than makes up for it.

The least original Iceberg 172 ever! (Plenty of pics)

Part value is ~£450 + VAT, but yeah, insurance excess is £75. They repair chips and some cracks, but this was too big it was beyond repair, second time in a year or so... Not wrong at all in my opinion, I was actually quite glad to get a new screen. Fresh screen with not a smear or blemish in...

The least original Iceberg 172 ever! (Plenty of pics)

s**t does happen, I was probably just too close. Just really unlucky that it was a crack, not a chip, or I'd have likely gotten away with it.

A quick update, nothing major. A while back I bought a rear strut brace. Because I could. A lot of people say they don't do anything, I beg to differ. I use it to hold my shopping in place so when I hoof it back home with my chilled goods they don't go everywhere. Next up, I realised my...

    Chris' Petrol Blue Project

The oil puddle after it sat was remarkably small. I can only assume that's because most of on the back of yours and the front of mine? Quite a brutal bump and it tagged my new splitter too :( Hope it's all OK when you've got it sorted.

So the steering wheel was a wreck... So that went. And I got non-bus sized OMP. One issue however, not sure if I've buggered something but the ABS light and service light are on (airbag too, but resistors are in the post and I couldn't wait). I've read about issues caused by the squib...

    yanoo gear shifter or pms

Based on what people have said, I'd say the PMS is great for track but the rattles are too much for a daily. Not tried one myself though. The Yanoo kit is a great setup and works well on the road with no compromises. Probably couldn't own another Clio without one.

    What exhaust ?

Can 100% recommend the Piper exhaust, the fit and finish is immaculate, sound is by far my favorite (except maybe the Yozza). With a cat it's very sedate on the motorway and sounds epic when hammering through the gears.
