Thankfully not, haha, that's my atrocious phone at work. Previous owner had them in a Golf GTi mk2, so they are grey exteriors and have the 'ultraviolet' material on the padding.

Quite an update today, some of the biggest changes to the car yet! Also some of the worst photos but my phone is dying a death... So, I set about planning for the installation of the Recaros and I spent a long time deciding what kind of subframes etc to use, but that will come later... Before...

Cub's Flamer - Supercharged, Cage etc

Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc' Cub. Who did your powder coating? Last place I used in Reading, I asked for Gloss Black and got some dull grey and with horrible orange peel... I'm going to get my side mounts powder coated for the Recaros and looking for something similar to yours bits...

    195/40/16 tyre reviews

Another vote for P Zero Neros. Have had them for a couple of months and can't fault them at all. Although going from the bald super skids I had before the tread movement suprised me at first but I'd buy them again.

    Recaro Subframes and Pole Postions.

I've sent a message over to a couple of seat vendors for their thoughts. Cobra have these so I might take a punt... http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/brand/cobra-seats/cobra-car-specific-fitting-frames/cobra-seats-renault-clio-mk2/facelift-lowered-direct-fit-subframes/prod_1318.html

Really impressive F4R rolling road results from SRR

This sounds all too familiar scott.p mine is in the same situation. I have almost a whole new front end to be fitted but don't want to do that until the leak (where ever it's coming from) is done so it doesn't knacker the new bushes... Will be on the phone to these guys in the coming months, no...

They are side mount seats, so as long as the side mounts you use are adjustable then yes. But not while moving, no.

Lots. They also came with Recaro side mounts and some Schroth 3 point harnesses which look unused, so that's a plus. They are Recaro Pole Positions, which have been reupholstered in a dark grey canvas exterior and with 'Ultraviolet' cloth center, which is the pattern VW used on mk2 Golf GTI...

If you're lucky, the heat shield will come off easily, in which case it's an hours job tops. Mine did not so it was a couple of hours while I messed around trying to get them off. On the 172 at least, it's much easier if you drop the exhaust and swing the cat out of the way. It does make me...

Gave the car a winter clean, pics aren't great, they are primarily for insurance purposes. And then a bit of a teaser, because these aren't installed yet and I'm waiting on a few more bits to come through... Looks good mocked up! Still need to get the oil leak sorted, but in the...
