ports are that small they probably won't need welding up as one can stay standard with standard valve and the other one can be opened up and ran with an f4r 1mm oversized valve giving 2mm oversize compared to the standard k4m valve.

standard box is s**t when boosted, dci box transforms the way they drive. no stronger a box though.

120-130bhp would be pretty easy from the 1.4. the head is quite restrictive, stays standard even on the 133/gt engine. we are just about to start on doing some work on the 1.6 but headwork will be the same. can you do anything on the head or has it got to be standard? will be doing a polyquad...

if you're taking it for mot and work then you're fine.

Aboit £700 with oil and filter as well, not looked at dephaser prices lately though. Belt kit and bits, dephaser, aux kit, oil, filter, waterpump, coolant.
