Update.
Long story short it needed to be a £5k box from a dealer and not a purchase off eBay, spend £200 and the rest on blow, go on holiday yada yada. I've got the above Teng set getting delivered on Saturday from an online place called toolorders. Honestly can't fault them one bit so far...
As the thread title, if you had £5k to spend on a stocked toolbox what would you go for?
I know tools are always down to personal preference, but is there any better kit out there than the Teng TC Monster kit for the money? Usually at £7k it's on at Screwfix of all places for £5200...
I'd check the small print on your contract. I remember a few years ago getting a phone from phones4u and part of the small print was I waived my right to return within 14 days.
I bought a sannce kit off amazon for my house, got 4 cameras with infrared night vision, control box suitable for 8 cameras, all cables and a 1tb built in HD for about £170. Has an app to watch remotely and record what you see or can be watched on the TV through HDMI.
So far it's been as good...
This, I went one step further and got the even cheaper sannce set off amazon. Think it was about £160 and has a mobile app and 4 cameras. Me and a mate fit it in a morning. Will send email notifications for things like movement detected, signal lost etc.
Granted it's not 4K clarity but better...
^ No mate, think that was ND05YSD. ND05YSP was a press car for all the motoring journalists to test on the track before reviewing it. Think it even appeared on top gear.
Was in Blockbuster yesterday, they had a letter in a folder on the counter which I was reading when paying. Mentioned pre-order for release 26th October.
That may be the case, but surely you can understand what people are saying? A car with a 3 layer paint is going to take a hell of a lot of matching up to make it look factory fresh (As I'd expect my car to be after a repair). Thus it would be more economical to just pay up and write the car off...
I know you're no doubt really pissed off with the sight of it now, but seriously, listen to the people on here, Daniel knows his stuff and listening to him WILL save you money and get it sorted ASAP
Just have a shower. Or if it is definitely the car, as Mace said, red wine works wonders, something about the grape juice breaks down and kills odours.
I unplugged it after an hour and a bit, did my f**king head in, never got past stage 1. Then did it a few times and it sorted itself out. Not sure on the box, its not the V+ one though.
OK so my VM box has decided to update itself, how long can I expect to be without TV? It's been over an hour already, the thing still shows signs of life but is still on stage 1 of 3.
I'd be careful asking for a certain computer TBH, you need to get an idea of your budget first. If you just want something for internet and the odd game then you'll get a decent machine for £500 with a monitor.
As for building them, they're easy to build, usually come with all the cables but...
Be careful on the printer, make sure you get one with cheap cartridges, being 5 he's gonna like to print shiny colourful things. Avoid Lexmark printers like the plague.
