So following on from the new tool thread, show us your boxes....
I have the Teng TC Monster 01. Photos from when it was new. Still not used half the stuff in it three years on.
Did you get to plan the most manly tetris ever putting the tool trays in?
Took three of us an hour to do mine. Also did it come with the stickers for the front to show what's in each drawer?
Depends on your plan of attack. I've bought an amazon VFD and 5 switch control module. Cost 150 quid all in so not too bad. Reusing existing motor and have forward, reverse, start, stop and speed control all in one unit.
Got carried away on eBay and bought this last week. Picked it up Saturday and got it in the shed. Will probably put a thread up about three phase to single phase conversion once it's all sorted but well happy with it!
Picture is as I moved it, I do have the tailstock, splash guard and doors etc.
I have had various Chinese variants and they all fail, the apps are a bit suspect and support isn't there. Although one failed after 2 years and amazon just refunded me.
Currently on a hikvision DVR with HD cameras.
Few bits to consider;
Camera location, everyone gets caught up with "they...
I've just signed up for this as well, why not. It seems more like a pyramid scheme at the moment though just getting loads of people to sign up, so can't see it really being of massive value to an individual.
A lot of them have the same size housing regardless of the hose they actually put in so a shorted hose might not actually gain much space wise.
Just make sure you get one that screws direct to the wall and doesn't use a clip on bracket as they just unclip when reeling the hose in.
Thanks all, only just looked back in here.
Trialled gamma, 3cx, office uc, 8x8 and had RC for around 6 months on a full roll out.
We've ended up with a curoip system with grandstream video phones. The system seems really good so far and the service from the provider (Rydal) has been second...
So this has been months in the making, and not exactly a tool. But finally got this installed and plumbed up yesterday.
Atlas Copco Gx2FF compressor with dryer.
Bought to run a hypertherm powermax 45xp plasma cutter I bought on a bit of a whim. Absolute amazing bit of kit. Now to start...
Just buy it. You never regret having the right tool for the job. Even the one time you use it you'll be glad you did.
It's a principle I live by and it's not really got out of hand for me 😅
I'm after a VOIP system for our offices that's based around using a physical desk phone. Does anyone have any suggestions?
We're currently with ring central but the service has been terrible of late and the product is based around head-set usage and not physical phones.
A big bonus would be...
I'm firmly in camp Makita here. My brother is Dewalt and I must admit some of his stuff feels nicer than mine and some of the Milwaukee stuff looks good. I'm with Makita as it's the first battery I bought when 16 so just stuck with it. Got the garden range as well which is very good.
PS excuse...
If you're worried about the prices and your spend now, wait until you've got the batteries, charger and a couple of bits of kit. When a tool is ~100 quid body only it's easy to get carried away.
Each brand has their own stand out stuff though which will be useful depending what you want...
I have Netflix separate at 5.99, they could offer is but it was an extra 10 quid a month for a premium subscription. Well worth it if you watch on more than one screen but I don't.
What amount of boxing do they actually put on sky sports? I could be tempted to call them again if it's decent...
That's similar to what I've just got;
Entertainment,
Sky Q 4K UHD
2tb Q box with mini box
Box sets
Ultimate on demand & Q multi room.
+
Super fast fibre, min 57meg guaranteed
Broadband boost, apparently guarantees Wi-Fi in every room
Anytime call pack
Line rental
That's 47 quid a month. I...
Buy a gun safe for the keys. A brattonsound PD7 can be had for 130 quid.
They're difficult to get into, and should anyone get in for keys, they'll think twice if you have to unlock a gun safe for obvious reasons.
I'd store my valuables in a gun safe over a standard safe any day as I imagine...
Jesus. f**king. Christ! That is possibly the worst, most pointless concoction I've ever seen.
I mean who the f**k glues an old shitty caravan to an old shitty wagon? The mind boggles.
Thanks for the responses everyone, popped down to my local Halfords yesterday and blagged a trade card. Will see what happens over the bank holiday and pick something up.
Tarby, PM me which set it is you you have and how much you want for it please.
I know a good few people rave about these and everytime there's someone with a discount code / trade discount offer.
What's the best one for general work on a bike? And does anyone have a best cash price for them?
Cheers
I was the same a few years ago, soneone got broken into and I went crazy turning the house into fort knox.
I was going to get the all singing, all dancing alarm etc, then my mate suggested the yale wireless as he had one. Yes it's wireless, yes it's batteries but it's been in 3 years and never...
I don't know the "dealership" but I know the area the car is photographed in. I think it was Daniel who said he'd never buy a car from Bradford, this place is the same.
