GPOS taking ages to actually push down onto the vads. Then inconsistencies of the vads showing policies.
Im sure Azure Conditional Access is kicking in for the office apps, so just implemented a shared token to fix that if possible.
This company is HUGE too. So yes.
They are moving from colo to Azure. Saving around 150k a year doing it on azure too.
Mental money for a small system for 3rd parties.
Currently implementing a Citrix via Azure VMs. What a interesting project its turned out to be.
GPOS are a disaster and unreliable at times it seems with domain joined azure vms.
How annoying Microsoft and Citrix.
Realistically, do you use all their services?
If you dont really need everything, id be looking at alternatives to stream stuff....
Amazon firestick thread.
Its more the amount of people who say "Yes ill start on this date." But they actually don't and get another job. So the kit is potentially lost / returned eventually.
Efficiency is good though if it does work out and you get the kit early.
Strange i literally got delivery of this yesterday.

May need to check that tripod / monopole out now.
Dont use mine regular either, its just handy to have. Plus at that price now seems a bargain.
The level flickers when its not level too, so handy feature, but the 3d was great when building the media wall.
I noticed mine was out recently when hanging frames, but turns out it was the cheap...
I cannot believe how much these dewalt green laser levels have gone up in price.
I got this exact kit for £220 in the middle of 2022 and my eyes watered at it.
It does 3d levels and saved my bacon multiple times so worth it in my eyes.
Now showing as £350 upwards. Mental.
Black Friday i bought myself this
Dewalt DCN660N
Much nicer than the gas powered one i borrowed off the joiner. Hes hinting to borrow this too now.
Was on offer at £220 including VAT so jumped.
It is a second fix, but ill never use the first fix rough one.
Disable 5GHZ and only use 2.4ghz. See if that helps, depends on ages of each device to be fair.
Sounds like you are backhauling on the decos, ideal too. Make sure they register each other as "wired" and also turn off the router side of the deco, use them as mesh access points only.
Always call sky, its much easier and they to retain customer they will drop prices.
Online is faceless and the "deal is the deal"
But on retentions the deals are always juicer.
Surely making a new wire to run from the battery to the cabin/boot would be easier. so then its constantly on the battery just make an isolation if needed after it. Can buy 12v sockets easily for this purpose. Just make sure you pop a fuse onto it.
Some communities have Point 2 Point style broadband via satellite/extended wireless. Id look if they do have that too. Community based ISPS really are designed for rural outfits.
IT, get some skills in Office365 / Azure stuff and start from there. Can quickly get a decent IT job doing that and not much experience needed.
They will always be needed now with most emails going cloud and wont ever come back in house.
It depends what app they give them really. Most of them are smarters or xciptv. If you did want to change your app can sort this for you if you really cannot stand it. (only the app), not the service.
