God that is a lovely car!! Not many with that low mileage and in such good condition. Even the bonnet doesnt appear to have any dents from people pushing it closed. Stunning car, really is. Exhaust trims could perhaps do with your wrapping and sorting the alignment of the exhaust.

sounds like the spade connector has come off the starter or the starter is knackered. if you have skinny wrist you should be able to have a feel by getting your hand between the exhaust manifold

I dont think they are the same. The 172 has a wheel well so I seem to remember the carpet had some sort of reinforcement for the wheel bit. they are the same shape exactly though.
