Two weeks today !
Still got a few bits I need to buy and sort on the car. Bought a blow up (Intex) mattress that blows itself up but runs on mains electricity. Going to have to buy a cheap invertor I think.
have the car sitting on the ground, not jacked up, get a 21mm socket or the swan neck on it and give it a fast pull, nice fast jolt. you dont have to have the 6mm allen key in when you do it.
Im coming to CSF in a green Clio 200 cup
Its pretty standard looking but has Bilstein suspension, Akrapovic exhaust with carbon tips. The colour is much brighter than in the pics below.
4, the satnav is acceptable although using Google maps on a phone is far far better. It doesn't do traffic , atleast my 14 plate doesn't.
It's a great car, I get 90mpg , free tax . It has an eco button that means the throttle response is reduced and the car feathers the throttle .
Get on to Ebay and order some M6x20 stainless or yellow zinc bolts for the inlet, buy a 50 quantity bag as they are used extensively and is a great way to tidy up the bay. Have you got some pics of your Trophy R you mention. Looks a lovely car.
This is pretty good, it stinks of ammonia. Anything that can degrease will be pretty effective on alcantara.
Also if anyone has a smokey smelling car get on to Amazon and buy the £65 Ozone generator, amazing machine but do read the safety cautions
@MarcB will probably confirm but renault rear ABS sensors arent available anymore.
An ABS sensor is a pretty simple device , copper coil round a magnet, so I wouldnt hesitate using another brand. Make sure the connector is the right gender though.
1 uninstall and reinstall drivers
2 reset tcp ip stack - click start , type CMD press enter. type this in to the black window netsh int ip reset then reboot.
3 try another cable , see if any other devices that use ethernet are working.
Once they are fixed get yourself a proper recaro CS seat cover from capital seating, you can get Recaro embroided on to them, Also use large drying towels under the seat covers.
I would say yes, it is a new rear caliper. Unless it's the grease from under the arm boot you will need to change the caliper. Taking the arm off is nice and easy but incredibly hard to get back on.
Would be amazing if @imprezaworks comes,
Honestly any car is more than welcome on track and like said it is a mature event. Everyone on track has been really well behaved .
