Cheers lads!

Fitting some lights to my VTS this weekend, and noticed the engine bay/front end was in a dirt state, so that soon changed! Started by degreasing most of it, and wiping away with a cloth, nothing else needed as it wasn't really baked on. Then set about restoring the bumpers colour back, came...

For reference, that last picture is at the left hand side where the back of the Surround connects to the dash or so.

While removing my old Gearstick surround I came across this, just unplugged and dangling about. Any ideas what it could be for?

Flocked surround fitted! Very happy bar the grubby interior lol. Will be sourcing a new gaitor at some point, and also the gearstick cap on top (don't know the 'technical' term for it).

Progress is fantastic on this, really turning into something special. I think I've got the same dashcam as you, but I'm too lazy to wire it up properly and use it. Also my SD card is full, and I cba to format it lol.

I was far too cold for anymore, debated ripping the VTS' interior out to make the most of the weather not raining, but my fingers all fell off!

Just gave the Clio a little clean as it was well needed! KKD Blizzard snow foam Meg's Gold class shampoo Demon Wheels wheel cleaner (weaker than diluted water) I've also bought a little flocked piece to install tomorrow, as it's f**king dark at 4pm!

I took the coilpack cover off it, although a lot of people do run it bare like that. It's some sort of sealant, not entirely sure. Basically the coilpack comes like that.

So I thought I'd remove the front grill/headlights as I had a super early finish today. I noticed my engine bay is in a sorry state. Started de-greasing some of the front end, and remembered my KKD Tyresol arrived Monday. Not focused on the engine bay as such, but the grill/behind headlights...

Also got the exhaust sitting correctly, but it's bodged to f**k and back with heatwrap.

Right then, some pictures of the Sunroof blank. Very pleased with the outcome, considering this was picked up earlier in the week this was really the first time seeing it in the light for myself! Looks a very tidy job, alls needed now is to cut away the excess sealant but nothing much. A...

Agreed, but pointless atm as it's not being driven let alone aesthetically pleasing lol. Just been dropped off at a friend of a friends for the sunroof to be replaced with that aluminium goodness!

Utterly love going from the Saxo into the Clio, they're honestly worlds apart in their current situations. The Clio has much more grunt, better brakes, handles much better and is 100x comfier and nicer inside (not hard to beat, the VTS is bare stripped lol). Planning on giving her a nice...

Sunroof is booked in for sometime next week to have the plate welded in, and I've also bought a set of Morette's, not everyone's cup of tea but I think they really set the front end off nicely.

Sunroof is also going to be ripped out at some point and replaced with an aluminium sheet riveted in.

Exhaust sorted (bodged...ahem, for now. Wrapped the backbox with heatwrap to build the diameter up enough for the clamp to grasp it, seems alright for now. Sunroof has also been sealed up (presuming it's the correct place) courtesy of the Father. Will be taking this to a 'cruise' in Cwmbran...

So after looking into it, I may have found out why my exhaust doesn't quite fit together. The id of the Centre section is 50mm, the id of the backbox is 40mm. Every single Supersprint (that model) has an id of 50mm, so this one can't be a SuperSprint, or is one made for the vtr/furio oem...

I don't trust myself with cable ties, let alone other tools! I just wanted to get it fitted for a trial run tbh, it'll more than likely be coming back off in a few months to be wrapped properly/use a DA to bring it back to originalISH condition.
