Do you reckon Russ, I know I view it with the rose tinted glasses off but maybe...I have just replaced the 3 windscreen rubbers so why not😆 the top one is tough with the screen in but a bit of silicone grease did it.

Thinking of selling my 172 flamer, it's not the tidiest paint wise, 90k miles with some service history but not comprehensive. Interior is pretty decent and standard bar some small tweaks - Volantech wheel with cruise and speed limiter mod, original wheel still with it. Exterior has refurbed...

Thought about selling it now I've got it mostly where I want it, except a respray😆

There's a few interesting whines that come from my leaky box to be fair, it's not overly heavy just that my Trafic is super light on the clutch

I like this a lot, I don't drive my 172 much at all so when I do the clutch comes as a bit of a surprise. This would make it much more pleasant in traffic

Spotted this today, I was in a Flame red 172

It's a good snowfoam lance, I'm not overly convinced that snowfoam does much to be perfectly honest.

I ballsed up first time and got the wrong one, the one you need for the Nilfisk I have is no6 which they call a Gerni for whatever reason.

A big pothole, not been on since! Seriously, although I don't use it enough to know if it's solved longterm. Volantech suggest taping the resistor at an angle which seems a bodge as they just need thicker terminals.

It's more that I have bits in several areas appearing, the front bumper is the worst but them it's pretty stone chipped now too, then I have some bubbles coming on the roof guttervtrims and now around the rear numberplate light.

I think a bad or cheap paint job is why mine is peeling to be honest. I'll get some photos up but you've pretty much answered it there. I'll live with it for a bit I think, it's getting to the point I'm not sure how much longer I can justify keeping it as fun as it is. 😭

Sadly I've got a bit of lacquer peel appearing in places on my flame red, is that a respray job or can it be halted in anyway? If I can justify it a full respray might be on the cards though I reckon.

Used my snowfoam lance today along with the snowfoam from Detailedonline, got a really good thick foam with a great smell to boot! I would highly recommend.
