At the mo I’m getting a couple hours in the eve, Mrs is working from home and I’m on full time call of kiddy duty’s!

To be fair it could all be a bit overkill for me, as where I am power wise isn’t far off! The only thing that I get a bit annoyed with is the lack of resolution allowing me to explore bigger injectors without ruining how well it drives at the mo.. that been said if this new turbo has changed...
No but I like the idea!! You sound pretty clued up? I’d imagine Syvecs wouldn’t have any issue running larger injectors too and dealing them in? Which is the reason I haven’t done so far on the Gen90 it’s shite with larger injectors.
My only problem with a different ECU is cutting my loom about...
Lockdown project, been keeping my self busy fitting my AEM v2 water methanol kit.. built a sub floor to bolt everything down too instead of drilling loads of holes in my car..
Tank in the boot is f**king huge, but the little upright tank looked utter s**t in there without any decent ways to...
I’ve seen there is a steel one mentioned, you are probably best off borrowing that one, we CNC machined a prototype out of alloy to test and have used it, it’s fine but mis use like turning the cams and slotting in and out will wear it and won’t give you accurate degrees.
The northloop one will...
I have a tool, it’s an alloy one we knocked up to set a couple 182s for friends, with a decat, stainless exhaust and Ktec induction 189.8 bhp was achieved by Chris at efi standard cams with group N timing.
It is drivable before mapping and giving it a slight air leak will bring the RPM up a tad...
Zero point one are developing something.. don’t know when but I believe they are still at it.. give them a message on Instagram. Let me know if you hear back [emoji106][emoji106]

I’ve found a lot of advice given in here about not doing a turbo conversion are from people that haven’t actually experienced any of it fir themselves. Mostly read something somewhere about a few that have been a pain in the arse..
You only hear about the bad stuff.
It’s all about doing it...
I’m a big supporter of turbo Clio’s! If you are getting itchy about more power go for it... they are great fun!! [emoji106][emoji106]
Also not a massive job to revert back to standard if in the future you feel the need (won’t happen) [emoji23]

Decent ‘group N’ timing will see 190hp just do weak points like valves and help the engine out with some additional oil cooling when on the track..
As said bottom end/blocks aren’t hard to come by and are pretty strong to be fair. You could pop the pistons out and give it a light hone with...

Messaged him last night, I think he’s had enough of loosing money. He said he’s the worst car dealer.. bought them all cheap, waiting for prices to rise whilst spending 20k on storage, then sell them for a loss [emoji23][emoji23]
Doesn’t seem too bothered, still keeping a load of nice stuff...
I met Chi at EFi once, spoke to him a lot on here and FB nice chap. I’ve always wondered what happened, he was quite lively on here until he broke his back in a Clio! He was always a fan of my Clio Turbo too..

I’d imagine the acoustic valve down behind the bumper has been bypassed with an after market filter anyway. So yeah just pull it and tuck it away. I took a blanking plug that I could just shove on for the mapping

When you see how much effort and work it takes to map these to run perfectly you can appreciate just how much the calibration is changed, so to expect it to run okay on a standard map isn’t going to happen.
Pull the small pipe that normally goes to the acoustic valve on the front of the inlet...
Straight to bad mouthing the garage! They fitted 197 cams and timed them way out of tolerance as requested. The ECU has no chance on a standard map to control idle. It will also be very lean mid range so go easy on the drive to mapping!
As said allowing a small air leak will help for the drive...
The only limitation to the Gen90 is its lack of resolution to run bigger than Megane 225 injectors and retain drivability.. up to 280bhp it copes very well but over starts to struggle... it’s not a mega issue but it’s the only thing holding mine back from running over 280/300bhp with 630cc...
Mine runs a gen90 on which was basically a ED kit, take it to EFI
I can send you my original map before my 282bhp map with and without boost control to get you going? It was around 230 without and 245 with...
