Technically yesterday but did a minor mod to my Pure Gearstick. The gear knob has been carbon fibre skimmed.
I also changed the Silver cap head bolt to a black one which I think Blends in better.
My neighbours Orange RS line was delivered in November and hers doesn't have the button either. She was told the same that it would be retrofitted when the chip is available.
As I sat writing this I was in my wife's car and noticed that the drivers door mirror was folded in and the passengers...
When I placed my order last August I was told to expect delivery end of October 21, Since then the date has changed constantly. Have been told so many times the car will be in production next week I have lost count. Current status is I haven't a clue when it will go into production or when I...
@Rsline_trev In the first lockdown the battery went flat after the car wasn’t used for a few days. Sorted really quickly though.
Like Martin said the auto full beam on mine can be slow to react but it’s better on my wife’s 21 plate Clio.
I have the 360 degree cameras and they are really good.
Welcome, Again my wife has a Valencia Orange RSLine 90bhp and I have a Iron Blue RSLine 1.3 EDC. As @Martin_172 has said a big step up from the MK4.
I have done nearly 25,000 miles in mine and apart from one small hiccup it's been brilliant.
I ordered a new car on the 27th August, no idea when I will get it. Same misleading information from the manufacturer every month which is very frustrating.
My Clio RS Line had a technical block when I bought it in 2019 and it had been delivered to the dealers. again it was a software update...
Another part that is difficult to get and is very expensive now after a quick google, Part Number is 8200136186. I bought a new one for £16.56 and then proceeded to fit the old one🤦♂️. So have decided to keep it as spares. If you are wondering how I know all these part numbers, every part I...
@Ricardos Nice Clio. I miss my Trophy. Interesting to see what you do with this. One of my favourite build threads over the years was your white phase one.
Anymore information on the Cooksport RR day as it’s local to me. They mention it on their website but can’t find any other information.
Nice write up and car.
The benefit of flocking is how it cuts glare down and I would recommend doing it.
I have had the top dash, A pillar trims, hazard panel trim, steering column cowling, door handles & levers. I think that's enough for me.
I think I need to paint my dash strips red now...
That's annoying. So many parts now NLA. I was lucky I bought a lot of new parts over the 8 years I have had mine that are now NLA.
I bought a genuine one which the part number was 7701470460, pricey but I like genuine where possible.
@DomP182 This is mine after about nearly four years and about 5000 miles, may take it off and give it a clean now though. But overall it's not too bad.
Thanks for the offer Jon. I may not be brave enough to do it though:), the annoying thing is the gearbox has been out twice in my ownership and not once has it been suggested to replace the seal and I forgot to mention it.
I started working on cars from an early age on cars that most forum...
@Jon Wright Good to see all the hard work being put into this. I wish I could do a fraction of the amount of work you have done I would save a fortune. Mine weeps from the crank seal and has done since 2013 when I bought the car.
@FPummell I am up for another trip to Donington next year. Need to sort my power steering pump out over winter. Replaced in 2019 as a precaution and it’s knackered already, only 4 track days and probably less than 3000 miles 🤷♂️
@Liambo-235 these are what people have bought in the past. His service is good and the quality of his stickers are good.
Just remember to select black for colour from the drop down list...
@SteveC_1879 Sorry I forgot to reply to your question, Glad you managed to find the fault. I replaced my starter motor earlier in the year when it did similar and then a few weeks later it wouldn't start and that's when I tried the battery terminals. Another way to release the starter rather...
