I had an iceberg 172 which was really rough but in some ways I enjoyed it more than my current 182. It did look good when it was washed. I'd have another all day long. Just look at Mr Blonde's titanium if you want some inspiration.
I was shocked at how quick those little fiat 500 abarth cars are. I had a go at one a few months back and couldn't get past. Was good fun though and both appreciated it with a thumbs up.
Nice one mate. That's a proper bit of kit at AW. I've been thinking about getting in contact with them to treat mine to some love soon. I'd like to get the timing checked and a remap with a power run.
I think tax per mile is the way forward. First calculate using price brackets for how polluting a vehicle is then that's your cost per mile.
A weight idea would attract controversy as it would differ depending on how many people are in the vehicle.
Putting pence on fuel would just do tax...
Just caught up with the project. Those wheels looks so nice. I'd like to join you guys one summer morning for a drive. Where do you go? Or just where ever?
Has to be one of the best RBs out there. Can I ask why the Avon zv7 tyres? I will be needing a set soon so looking into what others fit for general road use.
Replaced a track rod end and rod today. Fun and games as usual.. the track rod end was seized on the rod so had to hacksaw the rod to get my new remover tool on. I must say it's a real treat to use and made the job a doddle. I did struggle to get the new boot on the rack but i got so peed off I...
Funny I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I think a 1*2 is a car that most love so are hanging onto them. It's also not really the ideal time to sell. I think there will be a good few for sale in the summer
I've been driving mine for nearly 2 years as a daily and it's a great car for any kind of road driving in my opinion. It's good fun when you open it up above 4k but you can drive it like any other mk2 clio around town etc. Turning circle is poor though. I will (probably) be selling mine at some...
Hi, does anyone know if the discs and pads for a 1.2 clio 2003 are the same as a 2002 1.5 dci 65? I have a set that I bought ages ago for a 1.2 and my missus needs new discs and pads on her dci. Just want to know if they can be used?
Try this.... put it back together again and put the key in. Turn to first click, press and hold the unlock button down, turn back to off then turn to start the car. Does it start?
Nice little car that will come up lovely with a good detailing session. I'm running Eibach sportlines which are good but if you want more standard ones then maybe the Eibach prolines might be the way to go. Be good to post up some more pictures once you do the bits.
I reckon a good week spent on it and it would look good. I think if you could get it back to standard interior wise you would get over £3k if you did a good advert
If you can get one at the right price and are happy to have the work done I would go that route as you will know it is actually done. Who's to say you buy one and it starts playing up then you will be shelling out again.
