I rarely use the full revs but its nice having the standard one as a back up just in case. I think the Twingo 133 I had has the best system, I can't remember for sure but I think theres some sort of warning and then the light goes bright green to change up. Like I say I can't remember exactly...
Anglesey looks a great setting. Way too far for me though and I hate bad weather and im sure give its location it has its share! That Megane looks awesome.
I really need to get a pic up of mine. I really cannot be assed to remove the acoustic valve or carbon cannister as I havent a clue what im doing lol
So it means that I have some ducting sat in the shed doing nothing and some nice little tidy holes in my arch liners basically giving cooling to...
Note to self...keep the rule of no women and chikdren allowed at events like this lol I barely enjoyed myself with them two haha
Was that the open wheeled cars that were out for what felt like 5mins? Heard some ridiculously loud cars but couldnt keep track with what was going on after the 5th...
Ah didnt see that my little one decided to play up and I couldnt be assed anymore and went home. Should have learnt years ago my family has no interests in my stuff lol
Well like I say they did give it a thorough checking over and part of it could be down to the wear on the tyres as the outside edge particularly on passenger side (garage said alignment was out but I reckon it was just too many roundabouts)
Will have to get the mount done and get to snetterton...
Took the car to my local garage and there is no play in the suspension or steering at all. Did a full laser alignment and seems to be a bit better now. They did comment that the rear beam bushes were a little worn on the left side but that it wouldnt even be noticeanle or worth changing at this...
I removed the plastic panel by the boot shut the other day and driving down the road I could hear this annoying tapping noise and noticed theres these weird vent things in the back bumper with little paper thing rubber flaps that were opening and closing when I was stationary and a lorry drove...
Think im going to have to see if theres any play when I jiggle the front wheels and go from there. If it is the rear shocks replacing them with cup ones would be okay even though the rest of the setup is sport suspension?
No shocks look fine. By the feel of it its like the wheels are wobbling sideways when cornering. Coming to think of it I had hideous understeer on a corner I can usually take flat the other day and I've been moaning that the 172 understeers too much since I bought it so its entirely possible its...
Just drove the car on a straight road at 60mph and jigged the wheel left to rightt from 10 to 2 position and it feels sort of notchy and feels lighter with less feel than normal. Past those positions it seems to weight up agai
Noticed ever since I took the wheels off to fit my brake ducts around that time the car hasnt quite felt the same.
Just had a little play with a M135i and if I were a lesser driver I could swear the car was trying to kill me. Front felt washey and rear didnt feel right either. Snaked a little...
Don't know why I bothered getting mine as im waay to lazy to relocate or remove the acoustic valve and carbon cannister so my air comes in through where the fogs used to be with the inserts and exit via the holes I made in the wheel arches also with the inserts. I could be wrong but I swear the...
Im slowly taking all my toys out of the car :)
I think if I was to buy a new car I would want bare minimals. Would probably have electric windows and thats it. Really need a caterham or something in my life!
Yeah I've not experienced the new ST yet though I have been left for dead by corsa vxr's when I've been in the wrong gear not realising they wanted to play. Catch straight back up in braking and cornering though
I used to love that roundabout when i used to drive a transit. Wait till i...
Yeah it was the older mk6...
No its more or less completely standard. I've just been a young man for more years than most ragging it round southend so I just know the roads REALLY well. In fact I know almost every bump, pothole, broken tarmac and what roundabouts are lethal when wet etc etc lol...
The only one to "try it on" was the white older shape fiesta st with the blue stripes I think it had. I was losing the guy with my normal driving till I realised he was trying to play then he disappeared quite quickly lol
