Never had one issue with pec rods or pistons for that matter. I always measure the rod and check clearances and every things been absolutely fine. I have around 14 high powered clios and meganes out there that are absolutely fine with no issues at all. cosworth is also another brand we use...

mike is a good friend of mine and has been for several years and ive got to say to every one that some times things do go wrong! Human error or faulty parts. The build level of the engine is second to none and mike has done a great job. This happens to the best ! Mike woodford your a true gent.

some 182 can be a little bit of a pita getting thr pully it's self out, normaly ones that have been bumped. However many years of working on these you work ways around issues like this.

The way this drives is unreal! and its on full boost by around 3k its certainly going to make you smile tom :)
