Have you tried checking the fuses? Pretty much having the same problem as you too. Mine worked fine all day then i got home and couldn't lock the car, tried changing the battery but nothing.. So if you manage to fix it let us know!

Well, I'm getting a new gearbox tomo and see if that helps, the gearbox has rust in it now anyway, so somethings up :/ We struggled getting the clutch back in place, so my mate thinks it might be the input shaft bearing, but we wont find out till we take gearbox off in mornin :(

Fitted new clutch kit, AND ITS STILL MAKING THE NOISE. So we're currently taking it back out and taking the clutch back to shop tomo :/

Yeh, i used my TV as a screen when mine messed up, just attach VGA cable and your away.

Found out, its a combination of everything, release bearing was ok, clutch plate was rattling, pressure plate was on its way out too. For some reason they're rusty, hows water getting in gearbox? :S

This happened to mine, it was just a loose cable, it came loose after going over a speed bumb. Didnt take it out though :/

Bought a new clutch kit cost me £54 inc VAT, and my mates fitting it for £20. Not to bad :)

Okay, just been out in car, and the clutch has gone. When you pull the clutch out it makes an awful loud grinding noise, i think its the release bearing, would i be right in thinking so? Also anyone know where i could get one without buying a whole new clutch kit? Cheers

I used a broker and they were cool with it, i think i did in 4 installments every so often, no interest added. But some insurance people would be cool with it, they're still getting the money at end of the day, they make enough!

I installed AIM and AOL hijacked Firefox and there was nothing i could to do change it, in the end i just fresh installed OS :)

haha, interesting storys, well its a relay switch apprently. I'd say it was a 'Mod' not a fault that Wipers or ignition came on with hazard switch.

Ok, my stereos been acting up so i took it to a friend whos a mechanic, he said the relay switch has gone, and would need to find out which one. So where can i find like a diagram or something to see this? Yes yes, im a noob dont flame me plz Thanks

On mine they are all pinned except sport, which is glued. Mine came off pretty easy, but others have struggled.

Hey, i have a mk2 ph1 1.2 and i have a Phillips Renault CD player, which works with the middle dash, but it always stays on even when the keys out, only way to turn it off is by taking out the fuse. Also the passenger side door wont lock with the central locking, only with the key and it seems...

The antec 1200 is a beast, i would get it. I'm upgrading my PC soon and been looking into it, looks a nice case, Just get a cheap case and mod it yourself, Cheap enough for leds and perspex on ebay :)

Hai, been signed up on here awhile but never used after being told to sign up by a friend. Had 2 clios the exact same, as the first got wrote off, kinda a noob to cars so go easy with me, looking to get my car nice and got membership to view some guides :) Cheers, Dan.
