entering password on laptop with broken screen

not exactly well knowledged with laptops, my screen is damaged and i cant see where my name is to enter my password so i can check my laptop still works ok.

how can i click on my name to enter my password? thanks

If you can remeber which order its in, use the tab button to switch between text boxes. Trial and error.

Yeh, i used my TV as a screen when mine messed up, just attach VGA cable and your away.
