From what I've felt yeah, not really tested them properly yet as I'm a bit lacking in confidence at the moment.
Not driven since I crashed so I was just taking it easy and making sure I didn't do anything stupid
The pictures the dealer had did it no justice. Lovely colour in the flesh, I didn't want blue originally as ive only had blue cars but it's so nice I don't mind.
I picked this up this morning and I'm loving it so far.
After the unfortunate demise of my mx5 it was time to for a change, I've had 2 mx5s in a row and with a fault claim now on my insurance the premium for an mx5 anywhere near the spec of the one I crashed would be through the roof.
Decision...
Didn't get anything off it no, it would have been worth doing as it probably had 3k in bits at a rough guess but not being able to have it at home meant it just wasn't really do able.
Nope, fancied a change after having 2 mx5s in a row. Went with a Clio seeing as I've been on here for so long...
Yep this is why it was missing! At least I saved on parking.
UPDATE!
Insurance have paid out, which is nice of them and it was all nice and easy.
I decided not to buy the car back, it was offered to me at £900 but I don't really have anywhere to put it whilst stripping parts. It then went...
That's interesting, I've always thought it was madness to charge more for a digital download, obviously they are just screwing us over
Lol at £70 for a game
I'll have to look into it for next time, I never usually bother with downloads as they are usually about £50 for new games for a reason that I haven't worked out yet
PS4, it does have some frame rate issues but because nothing's happening quickly and you don't need to be always on the ball it doesn't effect it too much, IMO anyway
I think it's roughly 6 hours, I'm tending to walk about and look at everything rather than jog everywhere so it'll hopefully be a little longer.
Although it's refreshing to pay only £15, with the amount by of time I have to spend on games these days a shorter game doesn't worry me so much.
I started Firewatch last night, played about an hour but really enjoying it so far, I think it's the first 'indie' game I've bought.
Great so far, the voice acting is superb and navigating around with the map gives you a good sense of being in this massive area despite really only being a few...
I'm open to ideas but I fancy one at the moment. Budget of 5-6 grand for a car but insurance is my issue now. A 197 is getting up towards 2k to insure.
Had the call this morning to confirm its a write off. Surprisingly though they asked me how much I wanted for it and agreed with my valuation, so I probably should have asked for more.
So the hunt for a 197 can begin!
Funny you should mention that. I wasn't impressed with the ambulance that attended.
Turned up, waked straight past me to the lady from the Volvo. Fine although they could have acknowledged me. She had been talking with us about being fine as you'd expect but they checked her over and took her...
Yeah no chance. It's all part of the shell that rear quarter so it's a complete reshell to fix. Getting an estimate done Monday so they can tell me it's wrote off.
Then the fun of getting its value back can begin.
There's not really much I can blame it on other than myself. I drive the corner everyday on my way to work and I know it's off cambered and can be slippy. What can I say enthusiasm got the better of me.
There's a fair amount of money in parts on it so it's definitely worth thinking about...
Unfortunately no diesel here, just a lack of talent.
Picture the scene, slippy off camber corner coming off a roundabout. Only a moron would boot it their, and today that morons me.
Que spinning across the grass heading for a lampost. Result - 1 fucked mx5
I get out the car start assessing...
