Currently have there shifter, bearing conversion on the front and rear as well as there rear stiffening kit, engine mounts, hub spacers and did have there brace and mounts although gambit is the new owner of that. Will upload pictures tomorrow.
Looking cool mate can't wait to get mine up and running too. As for powder coating the rocket cover make sure they tape off the internal prior to blasting I know a few people that have had a nightmare polishing the cam journals as they have powder coated it :(
Trust me they'll take the cycles alright. We had a static test aircraft in Munich that went through the extremes of flexing...
In the end after 50000 plus cycles of up down we gave up as we just couldn't get it to snap.
Treated my hubs to a coat of hydrate 80 in order to fit to my asts and pms subframe and wishbones. Also added 2degree camber shims and 10mm spacers to the rear. Will fit it all tomorrow and get the car back on its wheels. Just got to prep the interior again and do it properly without trying to...
@Andycollins
Are you running the a penny and Giles tps like this one.
If so you should be able to get adaptor from ktec.
As for the map sensor mine was just tied up and not in use.
If you need anymore help just give us a shout.
To be fair mate that video is s**t. The camera shakes more than the steering wheel. Steering vibrations could be down to a fucked shock, worn steering bushes, unbalanced wheel, s**t road surface. Check your bushes on your steering rack. Only a 5 min job if you have a extra set of hands.
That's fucked. You'll need a new center section or it will need welding. More than likely with it being so close to the center silencer they will say you need a new exhaust.
Spray the threads with all sorts of s**t. They are located in the triangles where the spring pan is I think. When undoing mine I had to undo 2 turns tighten 1 turn to clean the corrosion from the threads.
I was amazed at this also when I fitted a k20 engine to my mates ek4. Rbc manifold, hybrid racing ic and a 3" iTuned exhaust system mapped at tdi north it made 251.5bhp but downside is there was little torque :(
If you have sheared all your flywheel bolts your engine will not turn over. Plus after seeing a flywheel detonating before I don't think you would have much of a engine/box left. I'd let someone look at it that know what they are doing.
The weight of the car is on the springs the shocks dampen the bounce so if you undo the shock bolt and fit the whiteline you will be able to push the shock back up and refit the bolt.
Sorry I haven't got back to you about the heat shield mate hope you have it all sorted. If not let us know and I'll bring it along tomorrow. Been so busy the last couple of weeks.
Looking good tom il make sure I get some good pictures if there is no one taking any :) you fancy renting the arch roller out I was bidding on 1 last week but didn't win :(
What spacers are you running to.
Glad you got it running in the end mate I did send you a email regarding the lights on the dash but did not get a reply so don't know if you received it or not. Will have to come down to your first event and cheer you on. So glad I get to still see this car I cried when it sold :( are you still...
What is confusing. Op is selling a car he/she puts a picture up of 2 keys and a load of documents to show its service history as most people do. Pervious to viewing the car I buy a look-a-like key from eBay/dealer. When viewing the car I ask for a test drive yeah sure have you got insurance...
