yeah the crank pulley (as well as the cam pulleys) are not keyed so if the bolt is removed the timing can slip, if that's the case its not slipped enough to cause damage just requires locking and reset (assuming that is the case obviously)
First you would need to find out if the car is pre wired for cruise control, id take a guess at no due to cost saving since no model that late had cruise control, in the 2001-2005 cars you could option cruise control so it made sense to just have one wiring loom that could accommodate both.
If...
The donor car that I used to build my 182 van had a limp mode issue, the previous owner had thrown the parts cannon at it via a garage who were guessing.
It had a new accelerator pedal and a new throttle body, I unplugged the white connector under the fuse box, cleaned up the connections and...
Yeah but if he's unplugged or damaged the connector to the solenoid while removing the inlet it won't be working.
Check the vvt solenoid connector is ok.
Make sure the map sensor on the inlet is ok.
Does it idle ok? Not higher than normal? No miss fire?
I know rlink supports android auto but I'm not sure if it's interchangeable with medianav or if the wiring loom is different.
Your 2015 will likely be medianav 1, medianav evolution didn't support rlink but there is a later model from 2019 I believe that looks like medianav evolution but...

My mate has a kranzl and it's a cracking bit of kit, I love how quiet it is, I keep saying I'll get one when my K4 dies but so far it's about 9 years old and is still going like it's brand new, key is strong water pressure and empty it when done. I leave mine setup in the garage with a 15m hose...
were you doing it on a level surface? all 4 corners jacked up at the same height? if its not sitting right it will appear that the fluid is full but its just sucking air though, caught me out the first time I done a MK3, makes more sense when you see a side on view of the reservoir
Bought a random 200 abs pump from eBay for £20, swapped over, car took it with no issues, RStuner read the previous fault codes from the previous car, cleared ok.
Tried to bleed, same issue, nothing on the left hand side! Must be a wiring issue?!
As above you end up putting cash into something slower and then end up replacing it anyway, to be fair though maybe its my old age but i prefer hustling my RSI down a backroad now than a 172/182, your having fun at slower speeds and feel your working it harder more of the time, but a twisty...
Body shells are the same, everything can be swapped
Best upgrade you could do for handling will be a wide track conversion. You will need front lower arms, ARB, front hubs, front brakes, suspension, tie rods and rod ends, drive shafts
Evening guys, Got an issue on my 197, I've had an ABS light for a while and the fault code via the RSTuner has been for "REAR LEFT HAND WHEEL SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL", i stuck a sensor on it, no change so put rear discs and pads on it since they were due anyway, of course because its a 197 it...
Ive got a £100 ebay special pattern part on my RaceVan + decat and its the best sounding exhaust I've heard for one haha - not too loud to cruise about in with a nice note on WOT!
Shouldn't tap just because its old, it may be that the engine is worn however and no adjustment etc is going to solve that.
As Brigsy said, only straight swap will be a like for like D4F, however if you can get a scrappy with a 1.2 TCE that would be my choice, get the engine, box, engine wiring...
I daily drive a MK2 ph1 1.2 16v sport and one of the young lads at work with a fiesta with wind deflectors and stage 6 exhaust didn't know what It was 😂😂 turns out he wasnt even born by the time it was out of warranty, makes me feel old.
