Had last weekend to myself so gave the car a good wash and waxed it.
And also got hold of a R26r Spoiler and the Machined short shifter :)
The car should really be coming together in the next couple of Months, I really want it ready for a Trackday in October.
My mate did it for a couple of big favours so no idea the actual cost.
All depends what need doing ? If its the whole car then its no different to any other colour as it wont need blending in.
My mate basically made a custom colour as all the PB are different shades pretty much. Every card...
The stickers turned up... And the quality is alright but not what im looking for. They were also damaged in transit so got my money back and now have the correct size templates to use. Have already emailed a local sign writer to see if he can make a copy of them.

Its just a more Powerful, heavier Clio really. Im loving it so far. Will be great to get the small bits sorted and give it a good drive. Planning on a trackday come October.
Got the tints off today. Came off fairly easy and used traffic film remover and a Stanley blade to get rid of the Glue. Looks much better. Also put the order in for the R26 Decals and a new RS badge.

I knew it wouldn't be long before i was back in a Renault Sport. Managed ,after a bit of searching and driving some truly terrible examples, to pick up this Black Megane R26. Its had all the correct history at all the correct times and has some very nice upgrades like the Single mass flywheel...
I painted the inside of my PH1 in the middle of winter on a pitch black night. The amount of overspray on the windows gave it a frosted glass look :cool:
Do your homework and take it to a top professional. Someone who knows what they are doing will be able to blend it in absolutely no problem.

Website says the operating temps for a metal case is 80°c and the non metal is 60°c.
Heat cycling batteries is usually pretty bad for them either way. Unless it's being shielded and has external air running round it I'd suggest relocating it.
Yea i wasn't sure either. I had a horrible start off the line. Was a decent lobby bar a few lemons.
@just-that-ek did you get punted off before Eau Rouge ? Think i was beside you, with the momentum and the barrier i pinged off it and ended up facing the right way.
Do we not have CS lobby ?
