I’m in the process of setting up 197 cams, valve springs, retainers and collets in a ported 182 head.
Keeping the 197 head for some big plans on my other build.
Try asking these guys from Oz a shipping quote as a bit cheaper. Might be similar by the time it’s landed but worth asking.

Yes the kite intercooler is very small and restrictive. I opted for a PWR intercooler, which has very minimal pressure drop and highly rated. Look it up: PWR Aero2 Intercooler, core size 500 x 196 x 68mm 2.5" outlets

Watching this closely as would like to one day do ported 197 head and cams with forged f4r bottom end on a maxed out Rotrex setup. Just need to justify the work involved in the 197 f4r832 head.
Just wanted to deliver a word or warning. Don’t have your drive splines zinc coated, there is just enough factory clearance to suit Renault OE wheels bearings. Once you coat, there is inadequate clearance unfortunately. Which I learnt on the rear splines. Had to revert back to unzinced splines...
