Yes disconnect the linkage, engine and passenger side mounts. with a trolley jack under the sump, then lever the engine into a different position. Obviously dependent on where it’s in SITU. I had to move mine more towards drivers side first. Then rotated engine on drivers side towards driver...
Very nice! Did you think about going ITB's with a carbon airbox?

That combo would look epic in your engine bay, something...
I also doubt it’s the timing, if you using a 7 degree timing tool and it was out plus or minus 1 degree would not really matter for inlet or exhaust as your remapping it anyway and accounting for tdc offset.
OK i have moved the engine back and forward to get it into a new position, which is more to the drivers side. However since doing that it throws out the alignment for the entire PMS linkage so have to start fresh with a new alignment of the linkage. Yet to do that.
What’s the best way to adjust the engine mounts? I have just placed a jack under the sump and loosened off the drivers side and gearbox side and tried to slide it to the drivers side but do I need to undo the bottom gearbox mount in the subframe and the gearbox dogbone ?
Did you ever get to the bottom of this?
I'm running a PMS shifter with similar and am considering going back to stock shifter, with new pivot bush at the bottom of the gearbox to see if it sorts it.
Thread bump on this, as was searching for issues with whining noise coming from the gearbox. I had my box built 2-3years ago with a Quaife plus all new ;synchros and bearings as per the PMS rebuild they sell. Its always had a fairly loud whine on deceleration with it. Is that a common occurrence...
Happy Easter, car is looking great after a wash! Btw I had similar idle issues from a sensor that popped out managed to get back in and sorted but very annoying. Can you get a bracket made up to secure them.
