I know where you are now. I have a customer in a unit maybe next door or a few down to you.
Nice to know there’s another clio about anyway. Like I said call in if your passing. Or if you need help with anything just give me a shout.

Hi I’m looking for just plain door cards for my clio. I’ve found a company called racecardoorcards.co.uk.
Has anyone had any experience with them?
Thanks

I run a workshop and body shop. It’ll be warm enough. Leave the car inside over night. And then put it in the booth for a bit to let it go off. [emoji23]

Have you got any photos of yours?
This is the only thing I can find at the moment that’s got choices in widths. 300mm sounds decent to cover the foot well. But it’s a 5mm length.

That’s a good idea actually. Didn’t think of skate board tape. I’ve just had a quick look. And I can’t seem to see any that would do the width of the floor/footwell

Hi. I’m just about to finish off my track day clio. I’ve stripped the interior out, got a cage and harness etc. But I’m just wondering what I could use on the floor for some grip under foot.
I’ve seen some stuff people use. But have no idea what it’s called. And I can’t find a thread on here...
He is a mobile auto electrician. But he does mapping etc. He used launch I believe. But you should be able to use clip to do it.
Your fault sound identical to mine. I checked everything you did. And it all came back good.
He did say depending on what ecu it was then you can take the...
I had a very very similar problem after my battery went flat. Had a guy come and do mine. He had to reprogram the body control module as it had lost the data from the immobiliser. Took him about 30 minutes or so.

Hi. Just wondering if there’s any pros or cons to fitting a dci gearbox?
Only want was a spare really because the car will be doing track days. So just want something as a back up in the house.
Thanks

This was my worry that the eBay ones wouldn’t fit properly or Casue the job to be twice as long as it needed as I’d need to spend more time getting them to fit than actually doing the job.
I’m in Swansea I’m sure I can borrow one. I’m to tight to pay the money for a genuine one to do the belt...
Hi just wondering where’s the best place to get a timing tool kit for my 182 without paying silly prices.
Are the eBay ones any good?
Or do I need a genuine one?
Thanks

Hi I’m building a 182 track car. Just had the cage fitted. And I’m looking for advice on fitting seat belt eyes. Got eyes and spreader plates ready. But not 100% on angles of the belts and location on the eyes. The shoulder straps will be mounted to the harness bar on the cage.
Any advice...
Hi. I’m looking at buying a quick release steering boss. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I’ve seen the Motacorsa Quick Release Steering Wheel Boss but don’t know much about them.
Any advice?
Thanks

I was just about to post asking what prices people are getting for their cats.
I’ve got a genuine 182 cat. Any ideas on price?
Thanks

Hi. I have an inferno 182. I’m having a cage fitted. And I can’t make up my mind on colour. I don’t know wether to keep it simple with a grey or black. Or do something funky.
Any suggestions?

Turns out it’s an immobiliser fault. The battery went so low. (One cell was totally empty). It’s spiked the immobiliser part of the ecu. Should be all back and running by Monday now

Thanks for that. I’m hoping nag I’ve got someone bring clip round this week to have a look. It’s got to be immobilised or its killed the ecu. We’ll see now.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t actually time it. It’d definitely no more than 10. But it probably quite a bit less. I was annoyed the car didn’t start so I wasn’t paying attention.
A the dash lights appear to be normal when that ignition is on. The immobiliser light stays glowing when cranking the...
Hi. My 182 has been idle. Battery went absolutely dead. Put a new on tonight. And now it won’t start.
Turns over for approx 10 seconds and stops.
Can’t hear the pump going. Think it’s immobilised.
Has anyone had this happen?

Hi. Just wondering what people are doing with the evap/carbon canister. I bought my car with a bolt in one of the pipes as a blank?
Can I just remove the lot?
Thanks

Thanks for the advice. Really helpful. Think the plan is now
1. Brembo a hc discs with rc5 pads
2. Cooksport springs
3.r888 on 15s
4. Get it light as possible. Already sourced 2 omp seats.
5. General maintenance jobs
6. Get it on track and enjoy it [emoji5]
