Just stumbled across this. Surprised a few F4R converted Sanderos haven't been built to be honest. This guy from Argentina has gone a step further with an F4Rt. I think it looks rather good.
It will probably be a total flop now :ROFLMAO:
I'd like to drive one. If someone can crack making an EV that's genuinely fun to drive (like the very best small hatches), then they could get my money. The obsession with 0-60 times and SUV-looks is ruining most of them currently. Hopefully this...
It looks ok in isolation, but I think it will be interesting to see it alongside other hatches. I have a feeling it might look quite tall next to some other cars.
Hopefully it's a decent drive too. Would be great if they made something that was fun, as most EVs just seem to be heavy, lifeless...
They become slaves to the algorithm in a lot of cases sadly. A few have recently done videos talking about their businesses and why they do what they do, and buying cars and using clickbait headlines is one of the best ways to get views. It's a shame, but I can see why they do it. That said...
Thank you. I don't suppose you got any pictures or video? Don't have much footage from the stages unfortunately.
I've clearly got some learning to do before I can drive one like that!
FX was somewhere near Welshpool I think. I guess they must have lost the use of the land if they're moving...
Thanks Mark. It was definitely a big step and, looking back, I think I underestimated just how much of a challenge the car would be for a relative noob like me. It's left me wanting more for sure, but I do wonder if I want to go back in a 4WD, or try a decent spec 2WD car.
Competing is mega...
So, last weekend was pretty special for me. I did my first (and only) rally as a driver back in 2019 but, moving out to Saudi a couple of years ago means it's something I'd not yet been able to repeat. Ever since I moved, I've really been missing being involved in the sport, as it's something...
Car Throttle was originally financed privately, but was then bought out by one of the big automotive media groups (Dennis maybe?). They then sold it again recently I think.
I really wasn't a fan of these when they came out, but they've grown on me a lot over the last couple of years. The facelift front end with the little chequer DRLs lifts them a lot especially.
I don't mind some hubnut stuff, but I watched a couple of his "reviews" and they grated a bit, as it felt like he was letting his own personal opinions get in the way. He seemed to really bum the old Rover/British Leyland stuff, but not like some others. There's much worse content out there though!
Civic FL5 Type-R. Seen a couple of these around recently; there's this blue one, and someone that lives near me has a grey one. I've got to say, I quite like them. Shame they're so pricey, as I'd happily drive one. Big styling improvement over the FK8, interior looks nice, and meant to be an...
Be interesting to see how you get on with the clutch, and how much it ends up costing. Might help a lot of people out who want more power, or want to use the cars hard on track.
Yeah I replied to the email and asked what they think might be causing the issues in D2.0, as that's an old game now, so plenty of people will have used the drivehub with it. Glad it's working on EAWRC at least. Now I just need to learn to use the handbrake without binning it :ROFLMAO:
Finally got my drivehub working with EA Sports WRC yesterday, as Collective Minds replied to my support email.
This means I can now use my Thrustmaster TSS handbrake, instead of having to fumble for the "B" button on the wheel. Still not entirely sure why it wasn't working before, as I'm sure...
They look cack with the small wing, but I do like the black interior more than the red, so I think I'd buy one and fit the big wing to it. They definitely need better wheels though.
It has crossed my mind  If I do wheels, I think it will be alloys though. The standard ones aren't the nicest anyway.
😂😂😂
It was always the long-term plan to move to the UK, but made sense to be here while her kids finished school, and the money is much better here for both of us. The...
Does anyone have any experience of the Collective Minds Drivehub?
Got mine yesterday, connected it up and it's making the wheel behave really strangely. It has resistance all the time, even when not in game and, if you do try to use it, it doesn't recognise any steering inputs.
Tried updating...
Yeah I did read about that. They have quite a short service interval, which I assume is part of it. I think they have made some changes over the original version too.
What kind of oil does it take? Might pick up a bottle just to keep at hand in case.
Decided it was time to buy a new car. Had my Clio 197 almost a year now, but it's not ideal for my daily ten-minute commute through city traffic and, with our equivalent of the MOT due, I thought I'd buy something else. The problem was, what to get? While everyone immediately thinks of supercars...
