OP seems to be after live mapping, rather than the next garage who buys the equipment and offers an off-the-shelf 197 BHP remap?

If it's "live mapped" it will be mapped to suit the engine exactly as it is running on that particular day. I.e. if there's 99 RON in the tank then it will be mapped to suit 99 RON.
They're £12 new from Renault IIRC.
If you really must block them off, passenger side arch liner off, pull two pipes (leading to washers) off of T-junction (coming from washer bottle) and "screw" an M6 (IIRC) bolt in the end of the pipe.
Had already tried ECU & alternator bracket. Airbox mounts checked when checking gearbox mount.
Olive joint is securely and doesn't blow, but didn't pay particular attention to it's angle - have you had this cause load-only rattles in the past?
Fuel rail guard is absolutely solid. Thanks for...
I think everyone on here would be extremely interested to hear who these Renault Speciliasts are?
In truth you can't ever predict a mileage, age or useage scenario that a "belt" will go. What you can consider is that they are rubber so they deteriorate with age (regardless of mileage)...
Hi all,
Would really appreciate any suggestions, been chasing this rattle for a while. Built up quite a specific list of exactly when it happens. Searched a lot and a checked all the very common bits.
Symptoms
* ONLY when you're on the throttle (not at a constant RPM or when backing off the...
I parked my BG 182 next to a Pearl Black 1.2 once.
It made Black Gold look stunning. I know it's not what you want to hear, but IMO you'll notice it every time you look at the car when it's freshly cleaned, or in bright sunlight etc & always know it's there.
Two tips:
1) Cut a single notch in either end of your "long rod." The distance between the notches needs to be sufficient so that the widest point of the car (at the height of your stub axle) doesn't interfere with the string, but ideally leaves 20mm or so between the wheel and string. The...
If you can't get to Renault or find a trader on here who'll post you one, I bought some from ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370695444971?var=640047115281&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

EDIT: LOL NVM. TIME/DATE FAIL.
Still, some points might be useful. In your OP you didn't mention:
* Named drivers (I'm assuming you do have them on your policy)
* Pay in a lump sum (doesn't suit everyone, but it's a financial no-brainer)
* Being very specific with your job
* Increasing...
I think this has made the difference between "a good price" and "a good price and an honest mechanic wanting to keep you as a customer."
Glad you're loving the "refreshed" car!
Surely there's a balance to be struck, that hasn't really been represented here... Items fall into roughly 3 categories, no?
1) OEM is so cheap it's pointless using anything else (oil filters, cabin filters, Renault Type D coolant)
2) OEM/upgrade is strongly recommended/required due to the...
We have a winner.
Installation ratio of the rear beam of a Clio is about twice that of the front of a Clio so the springs would have to be twice as stiff to give the same wheel rate. That explains why it looks unusually high (you'd expect a FWD car to have stiffer springs at the front to...
