Brilliant read. Just spent the day at work reading it all! Really like the gear stick and switch panel idea also all your ideas regarding brake and fuel lines.
Its good inspiration for my Twingo rally car build.
Keep up all the good work!
Just sat and read this, we'll done to you. Lots of good work and time gone into all the little details. I have been reading quite a few of the race car/rally car builds go get ideas for my own Twingo project and this has to be up there with my favourites.
Yes
Yes it was interesting to say the least! Hope to be out in the new car I am building this year as not done a rally since.
Its brilliant to have pictures of the car doing an event. I hope your luck changes for the next event
I am looking for advice on a rear coil overs set up for the rear of the rally car I am in the process of finishing . After something to be used on bumpy tarmac and that won't cost the earth. Not a fan of gaz and have used avo and bilstein on other cars. I need 172/182 fitment but its not for a...
Sounds like you had a very hard event but I am sure you learned a lot in a short space of time. I did Mull as my first rally in 2016 and that was definitely an experience!
Just joined back up to the forum to look at the rally build threads to help me with my build. Really enjoyed reading yours and let us know how you got on.
Not been on the forum for quite a while but returning to maybe join up for some run outs later in the year and to gather info and looking for parts.
I joined when I had a MK1 Clio 1.8 8v track car and then went on to buy a Twingo 133 cup that is now nothing like a standard 133 (cams...
Looking to get all my airbags turned off . Any body know of anyone who has clip in the Durham area and could travel to where the car is ?
When they are turned off can I remove all the wires and airbag ECU ?
I am just building a new project so all info and help would be appreciated.

The 133 motor is a cracker ! I basically have the k-tec 163 kit but I only payed ¼ of the price its all getting fitted at the end of January with the cambelt ect . I rally a 1700 puma in the 2000 class and although its down on power it will out brake and handle most . If you look on the 133...
I think you making the correct decision about the engine as I personally would spend the money on suspension and brakes first and have a year in a less powered car and do some learning . There has been some quite cheep 133 engines on eBay as that would be a better starting point than your engine...
Seen you thread on 133.net . I am putting some cams and manifold into my 133 and I didn't know if these were of any use to you as you should be able to achieve the power your looking for without spending a fortune on catcams . They will just be going on ebay when they come out if u dont wsnt...
I know I don't own a clio now but do have a Twingo rs.
My belts are due and I am looking for someone to do the belts and fit some cams at the same time.
