Will be follow you guys with the brake upgrades. Although mine will be for a Twingo and used for rallying. It will be interesting to see how the 133's hold up as its a similar set up to the 172/182 same discs but uses laguna mk3 calipers.
I had some maxsports on the Puma and hated them. On the front they give no confidence turning in and on the rear it felt like they were constantly moving about. They have very soft sidewalls that gave the above affects. They offered good grip though but just didn't like the way they moved about...
It's a GT. Quite a few of them have the stripes. It's a slightly de tuned Twingo RS engine and there ain't a lots of tuning options for the engine but there is some. K tec do a manifold for the T RS but don't know if it would fit the Clio.
OK so the last few years I have done very little rallying and I have struggled to get a navigator when I have been able to do an event. I don't know if my lack of events puts people off but for Mull in 2016 I could not find anyone, luckily one of my son's wanted to give it a go. Surprisingly...
Not very good compared to the ones above. I only really get chance to take pictures a few times a year unfortunately. Two of my favourites from this year so far. Don't know how to spin the deer one round!

Lights are from rrs-direct.com. I have been looking at a few of there things.
Nathan if you get chance any possibility of a pic of how much light the bumper pods throw out as been thinking of them for the twingo.
I used 8mm alloy and used the captive nuts that were on the subframe and also welded a few tabs on the subframe with nuts on for the front. Admitted this is a Twingo 133 but I think it's pretty similar underneath.
Lots to do tbh all inside to paint, dash the trim and fit round cage legs, fuel and brake lines to fit inside, fire extinguisher, tank guard, mud Flaps the list goes on! Had quite a few setbacks lately but hopefully things have turned a corner now. Build thread hear if your interested...
Love this thread! Keep up the good work. Car sounds loud! Croft is my local track and hopefully will get the car ready to do the Christmas stages for its debut.
Been looking at some bits from Italy for the twingo. What night events are you thinking of doing? I have found that a light bar is better for tight and twisty stuff but don't have the distance of a pod. I am thinking of a hybrid system of both.
Just seen this thread. Definitely one my favourite videos! Done Mull twice and this is my favourite road in the UK. It takes some size balls to do that road at speed I know we were doing over a ton at times but this is just amazing! Got some good ideas where to put cuts in my notes if we ever...
Currently working my way through Clio rally car build threads. For inspiration for my build. Really enjoyed yours. You definitely need to do Mull once in your life! I have done it the last 2 years it has been run as a stage rally. Hope we get it back as life without Mull is boring!
Yeah think there are all sorts going to come in within the next few years.
Is your Escort that heavy? I know my puma was a lardy arse but used to fly well on Mull though!
What size wheels are you using Nathan? Got the Twingo on speedline Turbines at the moment.
I think the only way to beat the r2 cars is to get your car as light as possible as the r2 cars are homologated to a weight the twingo r2 is 1030kg for example. Your brother should be able to get 200kg lighter than that I would think. I would like to be down to 900kg. Your Clio must be fairly...
Been following this with interest. Seen 106 on special stage the other day. Just busy deciding what event to do in the new twingo after not doing a rally since mull in 2016.
Will be looking later on in the year as will be looking to do some testing ready for the Xmas stages. Done a track day there about 4 years ago and it was good fun.
