This guy on eBay is crazy cheap for servicing parts, based in Motherwell.. not sure how close you are, it's all Scotlandshire to me ;)

Just checked, it was a Circoli branded thermostat - Looked identical to the OEM one I removed. I did buy genuine coolant from TPS though, was cheap enough and I bought Quantum PD oil at the same time.
I am sure you know, but the PD engines run on a very particular oil.. Book recommends 5w30...
Epic barge.
I've got an A4 Avant PD130 (same car, different badge!).. It's covered a mere 163,000 miles, with minimal problems.
I was suffering from poor MPG and the engine / coolant not coming up to temp. £3 thermostat and a bottle of coolant, sorted.... MPG went from low 30's to mid 50's! On...
F4R's have always been prone to weak ring lands... Even on the 172 / 182 NA engines.
IMO it' just potluck if you break or not, you don't know the history of the cars which have broke. They could've been running lean, poor maintenance , bad mapping "stage 37 generic map M8"
I suspect we are...
Is it coming from bottom of gearbox, where it meets engine block or from the front (facing) area?
It could be the pipe which has broken, which would be 10x cheaper than a broken CSC.
I really like them, look alot neater than Aerocatches IMO.
@NorthloopCup might be worried of people opening his bonnet and ejaculating on his awesome engine :tonguewink:
If you buy a new pump from Renault, they have been updated to run higher pressure.
My forged F4R turbo makes 5.0BAR of oil pressure, cold, running 10w40 oil.
Exactly this. The information is nice, but you can't constantly monitor it while driving (Although I haven't drove it for 5 months LOL)!
The SPA gauges have some nice features... I am going to program high and low alarm settings for oil pressure and temperatures
I'll be running my forged r26 engine on 10w60, once it's run in!
Done the initial run up / first few 100 miles on this: http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-60229-millers-oils-cro-10w-40-competition-running-in-mineral-engine-oil.aspx
