Awesome weekend as usual !
By'eck Admins and mods done a proper job of that!
Met some new and old faces again !! Good times , including meeting some mad Welsh C*** ... @Filters ;)
Until next time I'll be lurking In the background
Ah bugger. You may have to start checking looms everywhere,
UCH
usually take the brunt of it when something shorts out and does this.
Need MR white to have a look ;)
Pop the UCH off , see if there's any circuit board fried. I did this on my old Dci... accidentally hit The alternator poll doing a filter change , dash wouldn't work, lights intermintant and horn dead.
Can't find it , must of been lost with the forum update the other year.
It's all pritty self explanatory, all the bolts holding the cat on, engine mount off and pull engine forward. If it won't come out the top, take the drives driveshaft out and take the cat out the wheel arch
There's 3 silvers , 1black and 2 blues going round nuneaton. Most of stock ford area. And there the memeber on here that don't have cliosport ;)
I drive an Astra daily but have clios knocking about
That would be ideal for him with his future plans of projects but he needs more felixabilty if he's out on track days. Can't be lugging that around in a car
@Knuckles that one you've posted at the start is a drill driver. You can get the adapters for 1/4,3/8,1/2 sockets. I had one for light work , ie stripping engines or gearboxes. But it's not got enough guts to do what a proper anvil type gun has
Milwaukee gun srt me back 500 notes but that was for The dogs Bolocks version ( 18v fuel with 3 batteries )
Jack at work has the dewalt 3/8 gun and he's managed to take wheel bolts off with it before.
And don't be tempted by the snap on guns as I've lost count how many times my bosses has been...
Have had a similar problem with this before , same caliper is used on a few Peugeots , but slight differnt handbrake mechs
If the old Pistons weren't that bad on the skirts ( side that contact with the seal) I usually clean them up with some emery cloth and use the new seal kit. Not had a...
Dci 175 is the wingers choice IMO , just wish the pump setup on the dci engine was retro fittable with other types. Would help get more power. I'm still sure the actuall bare engine can handle more
You can just about push those mk3. Engines past 130hp, BUT that's properly maxing out the duty cycle on injectors. Siemens system I think on the 88hp.
Still , someone who knows what they're mapping , can make a massive amount more of torque over standard. Not pull you teeth out torque but enough
Headgaskets arnt common unless the engine has been driven whilst over heated.
Oil in coolant usuall is the oil cooler ( what your oil filter fits on ) seen it plenty of times including my old dci.
Headgasket usually pressurises the coolant to much and the cap will ' vent ' off
Injectors or air leak on fuel system.
You can test glow plugs in situe , multimeter set to Ohmz ( resistance ) red lead to the tip of the glow plug ( where the plug goes on ) and black to the Nut part of the body further down. Dead glows = 1 or over load
Work glows or ones with high...
Hello! Hope your keeping well dude !
Yeah mapping is expensive , don't really know allot of remap people.
Only dervtech, cdti surgery ( big Vauxhall diesel tuning company)
And narco tuning up here near me.
Don't get The puzzi , anything high foam kills them ,as its gets to the little circuit board under the waste tank area. The George tho, great bit of kit.
