I ran Rainsport 5's on my 197. They were the 225 and they did catch a little bit on the inner arches at full lock, but other than that they were fine. If you plan to do a fair bit of fast driving on the road I'd definitely go for the PS4/5's, but if you're just tootling around then the...
Here's the old ad that was posted on here:

This is probably the best kit for the money in terms of quality and ease of fitment:

I've used BTT Motorsport in Wigan for fixing my RS's in the past, they might be willing...
I've still got the original seats from my 172 if you want to buy them to replace yours? I'm up in Carlisle so I'm probably not too far from you, also happy to help lend a hand if you get really stuck.
That’s class, it’s been few a fair amount of owners in that time but it’s still going strong!
I’ve made plenty of changes to it since I bought it in 2020, but it’s probably still as solid as when you had it I hope haha
Personally I'd go throw the 200 cams in and the inlet, then go get it mapped. Might as well get the most bang for you buck from the map session, rather than having to go back again in the future if you only did the inlet.
Might as well do what I did and throw on the PMS lightweight pulley kit...
There's likely an air bubble trapped in the ABS pump, it seems to happen a lot with Clios. If you've access to the Renault Clip system, I'm fairly sure you can plug that in and it'll run a process to move the air out of the system. If you don't, you can do what I and most others do, which is to...
How much did you get for it in the end?
Seems like the 2nd-hand car market is really on its arse at the moment, especially in the Clio world. Mk2's that were going for £7k last year are barely shifting at £4k now!
I feel like EA WRC is a step up in terms of physics, especially the tarmac physics which were lacking in the previous Dirt games. However it does feel like a half-finished game. The career mode is really shallow, the tyre degradation makes no sense and some of the locations are boring (Croatia)...
If you're planning on playing a decent amount of rallying games, I'd definitely recommend the Fanatec shifter as it's easily switchable between H-pattern and sequential. I know you've had issues with Fanatec but you can pick one up second hand off FB Marketplace or eBay. I'd also recommend the...
I'm right in thinking that the Bilsteins have an internal bumpstop? Sounds like the damper has failed if it's compressing that much under load potentially.
I'm not going to able to make it as my Clio won't be ready in time, so could one of the admins reach out to me as I'll be offering my morning and afternoon track slots up too.
Hi Folks,
After a lot of faffing around I've nearly finished swapping in a new 172 engine running 197 cams. The car currently is still using the base map, so I am safe to start it up and get it running? I've no intention of blasting around in it until I've had it mapped properly, but I need to...
