I had a black 106 GTi just like that a few years ago. I p/x'd it for my old 300hp 200sx and thought it would be pants. I couldn't have been more wrong........fantastic little motor, most smiles per mile from any car I've owned. Hope a 182 is the same
Just found this thread, did a little searching whilst sat on the sofa, and found this place.
They seem to have a good range of cars :) I'd love to built a Tamiya 182 but one of these will do

Even if that was a 106 Rallye with that mileage, it might be worth £7,500 - £8,000.
Not a GTi though! Prices are climbing, so maybe worth 8k in 2043 :tongueout:
I was on my way home from Lincolnshire, when amongst the traffic, I noticed a small bright blue hatchback, on a trailer. Approximately 2pm.
Racing blue 182. Yellow sticker in the back window, with a black cross showing a novice circuit racer I think.
Racing seats with wrap around head...
I hear you loud and clear. I always watch it, the speed past dry stone walls, the ability to remember the 37 mile long track is epic. Then add an average speed of 133mph+ is just insane!!! true heroe's :D
Moto GP to me is just plain mental. Especially the Moto 3. Often 5 riders enter a corner, 4 change position, 1 goes from 1st to last. 1 goes from last to first, and almost anyone can end up in the gravel
*Just realised its in the wrong location....my bad*
The F1 and Moto GP seasons both started last weekend. It got me thinking what my fav was.
I have to admit, F1 does bore me nowadays.
I love rallying - to me the ultimate challenge. Tight twisty roads, no margin for error.
Isle of Man TT - 2 wheeled version of rallying, but without the metal for...
@Tim. I've just got a company car, for work plus social and pleasure. My old private car policy ran out April 2016, so getting a second car now (182) keeps my NCB :)
Put it this way, I called a very popular insurance broker, and they quoted me £700!
A lot of people might take this as the normal amount, and not bother looking elsewhere.
On the flip side, the cheapest quote may not be the best quote. I've been driving over 20 years and thankfully, never...
As from the end of this month, I'll be able to buy a second car. Something quick, fun, possible future classic etc....aka a Clio 182
I've been on comparison sites, looking for a good deal and called the odd specialist.
I know there are many variables to insurance quotes. Driver age...
Kahn Design - I personally, would avoid like the plague. I remember when he first started up as Auto Design Techniks, in a seedy little unit on Thornton Road. The guy is so bent, he could change a £9 note in three's
Bradford - The same. I was born there, couldn't wait to leave, it's a...
