And swap them all out at once. That lot from a breaker should cost you £40 or so plus post. @stevem42 is local, so is @midge

Nope, leave it on there. Prevents/helps the leads from being pinched by the inlets.
Leads 1 and 2 don't need them as there's not a lot of risk of that.

They're not genuine renault, no. Doesn't matter too much - it's not a pressurised seal. Mine did a good few thousand miles without leaking..
Yep, you can buy that seal.
Driveshaft off. Drain gearbox. Screw a self tapper into the old seal and lever it out. Use a roll of insulating tape/similar to tap the new seal in square. Fill gearbox. Fit driveshaft.

Find a local breaker. Ask them to store all the bolts they remove when they break a car. Get them plated or whatever. Job's a good'un.

Ignore the figure on the dyno. Test it against something real world (which you have done with a 197).
Dyno figures are nothing but pub talk, as there's so many variables. Did the place with dyno also happen to offer remapping, or a modification service/health improvement?
