The next step was to strip out the Kangoo seats and dash, remove all the Kangoo dash wiring. Once done I lined up the Clio dash loom, removed any wiring that would not be needed. I also fitted a PMS shifter as the Kangoo one was a cable type and not compatible with the Clio box.
I then...
Then the Clio 182 subframe, wishbones, steering rack, steering column, servo with pedals, abs and brake lines, 4-2-1 manifold were fitted.
Whilst this was being done the engine was taken locally to have new cam belt, aux belt, water pump and dephaser fitted, all parts were genuine and...
Was not sure if this was the right place to put up a thread for my current Kangoo 182 project but after brigsy put photos up of his Kangoo 172 Cup I thought I would share my build on here.

The best way to fit is to bolt through the tunnel and secure in to a spreader plate
Renault Parts Direct are offering good discounts at the moment on the cambelt & dephaser kits. I just purchased cambelt kit, dephaser pulley, aux belt kit and water pump from them and was £200 less than my local dealer!
If it is for the alarm, it will not be attached to the engine loom so can just be left in place, normally it just taped/cable tied along the engine loom/bonnet release
Have you stripped out the dash to trace where it goes?
I have broken approx 10 clio 182/172 in the past year and all had a wire passing through like this from the alarm system.
Any recommendations for someone to replace the cambelt and dephaser on a 182 engine?
The engine is currently out of the car and is still timed, I can drive upto 100 Miles from Bracknell, Berkshire if can be done in the same day.
