Painted the cage yesterday :) looks black in the photos but shines nice in the light! :)

I hope so, will try and paint it next Saturday if I can. It will be ready by FCS expo so can come and have a nosey if you're going lol :grin:

It looks black when the sun isn't picking out the flake though -

I picked up the paint today and went for the same colour as the wheels! Here it is, the flake is insane! :hearteyes: If you zoom in on the photo it actually looks like universe lmao.

I thought I had made my mind up until I came back and saw your photos @Cub. White does look good! @Scrooge I'm not sure how that would look tbh, I think the final stage is an orange/yellow pearlescent but might be wrong. Black with a white pearlescent turns into a nice metallic grey so maybe...

I can't decide whether I like this though, different colour but same principle -

Cheers mate, it's a Trophy spoiler. And I need to redo the black wrap again as its just a photoshop in that photo and water got behind the real one!

I had a matte black cage in before and it was just too subtle imo. I think sticker bombing it would be a bit OTT lol! If I could fit it in our tank I'd dip it the same as the engine bay though.

This is my first choice I think, would rather the wheel colour than black tbh

Got the roll cage on order now but I'm still undecided on what colour to go for! Down to 3 choices which are - Inferno orange - White - same colour as the wheels (purpley/blue/grey) Open to other ideas and if anyone has any photos of caged Inferno's that would be appreciated. Here's a few...

I think I might try and revive this thread and catch up with all my progress. It's almost 2 years out of date and a lot has changed! Here's a few of my favourite photos over the last couple of years and what it looks like at the moment -

Hi mate. Yeah we still meet at the Shell Garage, usually say get there for 5.15 and leave at 5.30 in case and people are a bit late. You'll have to speak to Tom through facebook mate, I don't think he's on here anymore.

Charlie has a Racing Blue Clio with RB painted cage and I think it looks quite good. I'm thinking orange on orange would be my best bet :)!

That's the only thing I'm thinking of mate! Want the cage to stand out but i'm limited for colours of I just stick to the colours already on the car. That's why I wanted to chuck another colour in there, it'd work well if I kept the white rotas!

Hi guys, I'm going to be painting my roll cage soon and need a few inspirational photos! Currently thinking painting it either white or Inferno orange. It's currently black but could do with a refurb and don't fancy it black again as it's too subtle!
